The administrative and economic structure of the territory of the Dnistrovskyi Regional Landscape Park (19,556 ha, 1993), located along the channel of the Dniestr river in the limits of Gorodenkivsky and Tlumatsky districts of Ivano-Frankivsk region, has been characterized. The literature and stock materials concerning geological structure and geomorphological features of the territory of the Dniester RLP were analyzed and the main features of its relief were presented. The park is located within the limits of six geomorphological sub-districts, united by two geomorphological regions: the Opil Structural-Deductive Wavy, the Highly Dissociated Heights, and the North Pokutsk Structural-Denductive Hollow-Wavy Heights of the Podolian structural-denudational high-rise geomorphological sub-districts. Using the ArcGis 10.2 functionality, based on the digitization of 1:50 000 topographic maps, a 3D model of relief and a series of morphometric maps (vertical and horizontal dismemberment of the terrain, the steepness of the earth’s surface, exposure of the slopes) are made, which describes the peculiarities of the relief of the nature conservation institution. Using the method of functional-morphometric assessment of the relief of the Bulgarian scientist H. Tishkov (1984), a functional recreational assessment of the RLP relief was carried out at the level of the geomorphological sub-regions and the areas designated for the development of various types of recreational activities were identified. The points obtained are included in the summary table, and the predominance of points determines the suitability of the territory for the respective type of recreational activity. According to the results of the evaluation, it is determined that the Bystritsko-Tlumatsky and Oleshansky subareas are most favorable for the development of sports tourism, Gorodenkivskyi – for leisure recreation and Burshtynskyi, Dnistersky and Chernelitsky subareas – for recreation. The existing nature conservation objects that are part of the Dnistrovskyi Regional Landscape Park are characterized and mapped. There are more than sixty different types of WFD objects in and around the park. All objects are tabulated. Also, geological, geomorphological, hydrological objects have been identified that have scientific, recreational and educational value, which gives grounds for granting them conservation status. This is a large number of rocks of different ages (Silurian, Devonian, Jurassic, Cretaceous), which makes it possible to study the history and condition sof the territory. The location is mapped. Also on the map as places of interest are the places of manifestation of modern geomorphological processes. Fluvial, karst, gravity, erosion and other processes are most evidentin the park. The dynamics of karst processes haveled to the formation of numerous caves and cave formations, which are valuable from the scientific and recreational plan. A mong the hydrological and hydro-geological features are waterfalls, marshe sand ground water exits to the surface in the form of springs. Historical and cultural sites occurring with in and around the park are characterized and mapped. The seare objects of Paleolithic heritage (the oldestin Bukivna, Horodnytsia), Kievan Rus' period, ruins of ancient castles (Rakovetsky and Chekrnelitsky) and fotresses, lordlye states, ancient churches, of which there are more than thirty, existing and in active in the region. The most ancient are the village of Michalce), monuments of liberation competitions (hiding places) and places of great historical battles. It maps and describes the existing route sand objects of the tourist infrastructure of the Dnistrovskyi RLP. The park and surrounding areas haves ignificant natural and recreational potential. The presence of a large number of diverse natural sites make sit possible to create attractions for tourism development in the region. The presence of historical and cultural heritage en hances the use of the territory. New routes and proposals for improvement of the tourist infrastructure of the territory were developed: creation of an eco-educational visit center, placement of agroosel complexes, arrangement of places for stops during the Dniester alloys, creation of a network of tourist points at the places of passage of route sand places of rest of residents, development and in stallation of new information standsne are xisting tourist natural and historical sites in the study area. Objective. Analyze the structure and features of the nature reserve fund within the western part of the North Pokut highland and find out the problems and prospects for its optimization. Methods. Field, analysis, processing of stock materials of environmental services, remote sensing methods, cartographic. Result. The nature reserve fund of the western part of the North Pokuttya highland forms one regional landscape park, 15 reserves, 37 natural monuments, 12 protected tracts, three arboretums and five parks-monuments of garden and park art. The largest in area is the Dniester RLP (19,556 hectares), which accounts for 96% of the total area of the NPF in the region. A large number of valuable natural objects: caves, rocks, ledges, karst funnels and abysses, springs are located outside the Dniester RLP. Suggestions for optimizing the protection of valuable objects that need to be preserved. Valuable objects need protection in the form of geological monuments of nature and karst-speleological reserves for their further preservation, as karst abysses and funnels, occasionally at the foot of rocks become places of accumulation of household waste of the local population. This leads to loss of value of the natural object, pollution of the environment, deterioration of the ecological condition of the territory. Conclusions. We propose to create a karst and speleological reserve for the preservation and protection of caves, karst fields in the vicinity of Isakiv. As a geological monument of nature, it is necessary to protect large karst abysses ("vertebrae") and the cave "Pokutyanka" with a length of about 935 m. It is necessary to create hydrological monuments of nature to preserve high flow sources, waterfalls on travertine rocks. They are concentrated along the slopes of the Dniester.
