In May 2013, a scientific expedition was organized by the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (FEBRAS) in the frame of the VAST-FEBRAS International collaboration program. The expedition went along the coast of Vietnam from Quang Ninh to Kien Giang. The objective was to collect natural resources for investigation of the biological and biochemical diversity of the territorial waters of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. We have tested the hypothesis that a fermented beverage from the macroalgae Hydropuntia eucheumatoides exhibits antioxidant and enzymatic activity. The macroalga was hydrolyzed (maximum hydrolysis yield: 78%) with a mixture of the enzymes viscozyme and lactozyme. Then, the hydrolyzate was fermented with Lactobacillus casei and Saccharomyces boulardii. This beverage contained oligosaccharide prebiotics. The lactic acid, acetic acid, ethanol, methanol, cell count, pH, and heavy metal content of the beverage were determined. All tested heavy metals were either not detected (eg, As) or within the US Food and Drug Administration limits (eg, Fe).

Biomass seaweed Cladophora sp. (BSC) included Cladphora socialis, Cladophora prolifera, Cladophora crupila, which was hydrolysised in dilute sulfuric acid and enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulase. BSC was treated by dilute sulfuric acid at concentration of 0, 0.5%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, 6% (v/v) (v: volume) in autoclave respectively at 121 °C at time 20, 40 and 60 minute, with the rate between seaweed and solution acid of 1/10(w/v) (w: weight). Beside, BSC was pretreated in dilute sulfuric acid at 0.5%(v/v) at 121 °C in 20 minute, after it was treat at concentrations 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1 ml/g with the enzymatic hydrolysis consisted of cellulase in control (50 °C, pH 5.0, 24 h). The results showed that, total sugar contents of two methods are the same, but sugar content was varied by treatment time of heat. Rates of acid 4%; 5%, 6% (v/v) and 0.8; 1 ml/g have high sugar content within the range of 42.38-48.51 mg/ml. 400 ml of hydrolysis solution was fermented by Saccharomyces cerevisiae at 30 °C for 72 h. After fermentation, 5% ethanol solution was identified for the first 100 ml evaporate solution. BSC is easily hydrolyzed and fermented to ethanol, this shows excellent prospects as a potential feedstock for the production of bioethanol.

The intention to adopt new methods is a topic commonly explored within the context of the technology acceptance model (TAM). TAM primarily focuses on assessing the perceived effectiveness and ease of use of these new methods, without directly comparing them to existing methods. This approach stems from the belief that the newly adopted method will be more effective than the existing one. Additionally, the influence of self-perception on individuals' decision-making processes and their inclination to accept new innovations is widely acknowledged. In light of these considerations, this article presents survey findings obtained from 438 healthcare service facilities in Vietnam, specifically targeting board members and rehabilitation doctors. The results reveal that the intention to implement rehabilitation exercises for patients in these facilities is significantly influenced by three main factors: (1) the perceived effectiveness of rehabilitation exercises compared to current methods; (2) the visibility of rehabilitation exercises in patient treatment; and (3) the perception of rehabilitation exercises' effectiveness in patient treatment. Furthermore, the self-identification of healthcare facility managers as either adhering to modern or traditional practices can either facilitate or hinder their intention to employ rehabilitation exercises in patient treatment, respectively. Based on these findings, the article puts forth several proposed solutions to enhance the intention to utilize rehabilitation exercises for patient treatment within the medical service facilities of Vietnam.

Đã có những nghiên cứu phương pháp canh tác, thu hoạch rong biển và các phương pháp xử lý, đường hóa và lên men bởi vi sinh vật từ rong biển để tạo ra nhiên liệu sinh học [4]. Kết quả nghiên cứu của Mitsunori et al. (2011) [5] cho thấy, rong Ulva pertusa có 43,5% là polysaccharid trong đó 15,2% cellulose và 28,3% polyme khác, các polysaccharid này đã được đường hóa bằng enzyme Meicelase tạo ra dịch đường 43g/l và lên men tạo ra 18,5 g/l ethanol [5]. Một kết quả nghiên cứu khác của Nadja et al. (2013) [7] cũng cho biết rong Chaetomorpha linum có 61,5% là polysaccharid trong đó 40% cellulose và 21,5% polyme khác; các polysaccharid này đã được đường hóa bằng enzyme cellulast 1,5L tạo ra dịch đường 49 g/l và lên men tạo ra 18,1 g/l ethanol [7] .Trong bài báo này, chúng tôi đã chọn rong Lục, Chaetomorpha linum, là đối tượng nghiên cứu và tiến hành nghiên cứu điều kiện thủy phân rong bằng enzym và ứng dụng trong sản xuất ethanol, đây là loài rong được nhiều tác giả quan tâm, vì loài này có sinh khối lớn, thành phần polysaccharid cao và khi đường hóa sẽ tạo ra môi trường giàu glucan thích hợp cho lên men ethanol.
