A contribuição dos modernistas para a construção de uma ideia de “cozinha brasileira” é analisada, neste artigo, a partir da perspectiva de Mário de Andrade (1893-1945) e de seu único texto inteiramente dedicado ao assunto, Tacacá com tucupi, publicado em 1939, pouco depois de ele ter lido Açúcar: algumas receitas de bolos e doces dos engenhos do Nordeste, de Gilberto Freyre (1900-1987). Por meio de uma leitura histórica do texto, procura-se demonstrar que a escrita se deu, por um lado, como uma crítica explícita aos chamados “bons comedores” – intelectuais apreciadores da gastronomia francesa, mas envergonhados das peculiaridades brasileiras –, e, por outro, como uma resposta tácita à visão regionalista do escritor pernambucano. Com ironia, Mário reconfigura o mapa culinário do país, ousando equiparar as comidas nacionais às francesas e sintetizando, por meio da culinária, alguns de seus importantes conceitos sobre a cultura brasileira.
RESUMO-O material em estudo, o grafeno, em sua forma cristalizada, possui excelentes propriedades ópticas, térmicas e elétricas que são significativas e úteis em diversas aplicações, desde que sua síntese ocorra de forma controlada, com um adequado teor de pureza. Com o objetivo de explorar e investigar as possibilidades em desenvolvimento relativas à síntese deste material, o presente trabalho promoveu um estudo sobre alguns métodos de síntese e caracterização do grafeno, um nanomaterial da família de alótropos do carbono. Tais métodos foram descritos com o objetivo de se analisar e avaliar aqueles que proporcionaram maior eficiência de síntese. Como resultado da pesquisa realizada, pode-se afirmar que as rotas de processos de síntese do tipo top-down forneceram os melhores resultados, devido à geração de grafeno de alta qualidade, com alto rendimento e baixo custo, garantindo a possibilidade de seu uso industrial aplicado na elaboração de outros materiais como, por exemplo, na composição de películas, fundamentais para a proteção de equipamentos que dependem de energia térmica e elétrica para seu funcionamento.
Desde meados de 2017, vimos trabalhando na produção desta publicação que, enfim, nos orgulhamos de lançar agora, em março de 2019. A Ingesta chega ao cenário acadêmico com o objetivo de catalisar pesquisas relacionadas à história da alimentação e das drogas e de contribuir para expandir e consolidar esse ramo de estudos interdisciplinar no campo das humanidades. Este exemplar de estreia, no entanto, foge do que será a rotina da publicação. Sob a coordenação do historiador Henrique Soares Carneiro e de um editor convidado, o sociólogo Carlos Alberto Dória, planejamos o primeiro volume no formato de um compêndio de artigos e ensaios assinados por pesquisadores e professores com vasta produção acadêmica no tema das drogas e da alimentação – alguns deles compõem, inclusive, a Comissão Científica da revista. Ligados a instituições de diversas regiões, os autores foram convidados a escrever seus textos especialmente para esta primeira edição. Excepcionalmente, portanto, apenas desta vez os trabalhos aqui publicados não passaram pela avaliação de pareceristas, como deve ocorrer nos seguintes números. Para nós, foi uma grande satisfação receber cada um dos artigos e poder compilá-los neste volume de apresentação, que representa, em si mesmo, uma das propostas primordiais da publicação: unificar as áreas de estudos da alimentação e das drogas, usualmente tratadas à parte.
