Cardiovascular diseases are one of major cause of death in the world, as well as in Indonesia. In spite of that fact, cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) could be prevented with healthy behavior and lifestyle, such as: regular health checkup , healthy eating and drinking lifestyle, stress management, sleeping management, regular physical activities. In this paper, we develop mobile health application as a tool to record daily behavior and lifestyle. Mobile health is chosen because nowadays mobile devices are the most popular communication used among people. Thus, we believe that mobile Health (mHealth) is a promising tool to promote healthy lifestyle and behavior. The method we used for developing the application is called as Human-centered design (HCD). The application is evaluated iteratively from the first prototype (low-fidelity prototype) to the final prototype (high-fidelity prototype). Based on the feedback using User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) shows that the application has above average scores for all of the components, i.e.: attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, accuracy and dependability, stimulation, and novelty. The best score is for Stimulation (Excellent), while the worst score is accuracy and dependability (above average). This shows that mHealth is a potential tool to stimulate users for having healthy lifestyle, however it still required further validation of use from health experts to ensure the accuracy's result of the application.
Abstract-Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS) have been used widely since 2000s to improve the healthcare quality. CDSS can be utilized to support healthcare services as a tool to diagnose, predict, as well as to provide clinical interpretation, alert, and reminder. There are many researches of CDSS implementation on literatures but not many of them present the evidence of CDSS successful implementation. In spite of the potential use of CDSS, there are some researches that reveal the failures of CDSS implementation. This paper contributes to CDSS development by investigating and exploring CDSS success factors with usability testing. The testing involves participants from different types of backgrounds (physicians, IT developers, and students). The participants are being asked to experience three different CDSS to predict cardiovascular risk factors. The result of the research shows that involving different type of users give more insight to design process. It can be concluded that user center design is very critical to produce successful CDSS.
This paper proposes a new consensus model in participatory decision making. The model employs advice centrality approach by electing a leader and recommender named as Supra Decision Maker (SDM). A SDM has a role as a decision bench-marker to other decision makers in evaluating each alternative with respect to given criteria. The weighting value for each alternative can be obtained by considering consensus level and preferences' distances between SDM and other Decision Makers. A social functionusing Social Judgment Scheme (SJS) concept is employed when a decision does not achieve the required consensus level. A simple example is presented here to illustrate our model.
Abstract-ICT has been employed in various areas, including eParticipation to support citizen participation and achieve democracy ideal. Trust as a social behavior can be used as a method to model preferences and facilitate better participation and interaction in a decision making within a group of decision makers. In this paper we present literatures survey related to eParticipation and trust in computer science; we also proposed a Group Decision Support System model and application, which utilizes trust to support decisions in a collaborative team. In brief, the model is based on the synthesis of group members' preferences following an appropriate aggregation procedure.
