The aim of the study was to determine the qualitative composition of substances constantly present in the breathing zone of workers of the Astrakhan gas processing plant (AGPF), by reference to the composition of raw materials, intermediate and end products, circulating through the system equipment and pipelines of each room - engine halls, pump and others. The quantitative content of these substances in the air of working zone is determined by the techniques used in recent years in the scientific and practical sanitary surveys. All studies on the presence of harmful substances in the air were performed according to methods approved by the Ministry of Health and conditions of the measurement of specific components. Harmful substances were found to be detected in the breathing zone of working virtually permanently. In that many of them possess an additive effect.
