The bryophyte flora of the NNP "Desnyansko-Starohutsky" (the Sumy region, NE Ukraine) includes 102 species of 56 genera, 34 families belonging to two divisions: Marchantiophyta (9 spp.) and Bryophyta (93 spp.). Among them Brachythecium reflexum (Starke) B.S.G. and B. starkei (Brid.) B.S.G. are new for the whole Ukrainian Polissya, Calypogeia neesiana (Mass. et Carest.) K.Mull. and Orthotrichum diaphanum Brid.-new for the Left Bank Ukrainian Polissya; a number of the others are rare ones for the mentioned territories.
У м. Schwägr., Bryum violaceum Crundw. et Nyh., Orthotrichum diaphanum Schrad. ex Brid.) і Orthotrichum striatum Hedw.) In Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskiy and its outskirts (Kyiv region, Ukraine), 66 species of bryophytes were found. Among them, three species (Aulacomnium androgynum (Hedw.) Schwägr., Bryum violaceum Crundw. et Nyh. and Orthotrichum diaphanum Schrad. ex Brid.) have not been previously reported for the Left-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, whilst another three (Dicranum tauricum Sapjegin, Sciuro-hypnum reflexum (Starke) Ignatov et Huttunem and Orthotrichum striatum Hedw.) are appeared to be rare for this territory. In general, the town's bryophyte flora consists of forest species and relatively less of weedy taxa. В г. Schwägr., Bryum violaceum Crundw. et Nyh., Orthotrichum diaphanum Schrad. ex Brid.)
The bryophyte flora of the "Granite-steppe Pobuzhya" RLP (the Mykolaiv region, Southen Ukraine) includes 76 species of 51 genera and 25 families belonging to two divisions: Marchantiophyta (8 spp.) and Bryophyta (68 spp.). There are many typical and rare petricolous bryophytes in this territory: xeric species Oxymitra incrassata (Brot.) Sergio et Sim-Sim, Mannia fragrans (Balbis) Frye et L.Clark, Entosthodon hungaricus (Boros) Loeske etc., and hydrophytic ones Cinclidotus fontinaloides (Hedw.) P.Beauv., Fissidens crassipes Wilson ex Bruch et Schimp., Fontinalis antipyretica Hedw. Among them C. fontinaloides and Entosthodon fascicularis (Hedw.) Müll.Hal. are reported for the first time for the steppe zone of Ukraine.
The bryophyte flora of the Cheremys'ky nature reserve (the Volyns'ka oblast', NW Ukraine) includes 114 species of 67 genera, 42 families belonging to two divisions: Marchantiophyta (12 spp.) and Bryophyta (102 spp.). Among them, glacial relicts (Calliergon trifarium, Scorpidium scorpioides, Helodium blandowii) and rare taxa (Orthotrichum lyellii, Aulacomnium androgynum, Thuidium tamariscinum) are presented.
