Este artículo analiza, desde la crítica feminista y decolonial, la violencia sexual hacia las mujeres durante la formación universitaria y particularmente en el trabajo de campo, como un aspecto microsocial de la estructura patriarcal y de las desigualdades sufridas por las mujeres. Desde un enfoque autoetnográfico, a partir del relato de nuestras experiencias de violencia sexual, identificamos cómo opera la violencia de género en el trabajo de campo y rescatamos las respuestas a nuestras denuncias y el impacto en nuestras vidas y trayectorias académicas. Ante la falta de preparación de las universidades para hacer frente a este problema se concluye que es urgente generar un diálogo entre instituciones educativas y voces feministas para reconocer y eliminar la violencia de género.
Uno de los escenarios de la pobreza extrema es la situación de vida en la calle (sinhogarismo). El estudio de caso presentado en este artículo analiza los significados de pobreza construidos desde experiencias masculinas de exmigrantes deportados e identifica las proyecciones a futuro que se elaboran en la precariedad del contexto. Los participantes de esta investigación son siete hombres que acuden a un albergue de ayuda humanitaria en Hermosillo, capital de Sonora (México) y a quienes se entrevistó para la elaboración de sus historias de vida, técnica elegida para la inducción de significados, sentidos y vivencias. Los resultados muestran la mirada desde los Derechos Humanos en torno a las necesidades y los aspectos que consolidan el problema a partir de la exclusión social. Se plantea una proyección de vida sin incorporar un papel de agencia, lo que genera un “vivir el presente” desde el positivismo y la fe. Se concluye con la necesidad de incorporar el género en el análisis de la pobreza extrema, como eje para comprender la situación de calle, y las historias de vida como técnica adecuada para la recopilación de sentidos y experiencias en torno a nuevos procesos sociales en la frontera norte del país.
Hablar de las ciencias sociales es dialogar sobre un acercamiento a la realidad social, analizar sus estructuras y dinámicas y armar líneas de entendimiento. La antropología aplicada y el trabajo social son dos disciplinas que comparten un interés común: aportan un amplio mundo de soluciones y alternativas a los problemas del individuo y los grupos sociales. Dentro de esta misma línea de pensamiento, propósitos e intervención, nace un nuevo vínculo a través de la metodología cualitativa: la etnografía.
Este trabajo analiza la auto-solidaridad como posicionamiento ante la pobreza extrema y muestra el complejo articulado del sinhogarismo y la dificultad para superarlo. La historia de vida de Ramón, como estudio de caso en el norte de México, desentraña la vinculación entre la migración, la(s) masculinidad(es) y la exclusión social, y su relación con la situación de calle de hombres exmigrantes deportados, colectivo desamparado por la política social. La trayectoria vital de Ramón expone violencias, contextos de vulnerabilidad y resignificaciones, siendo un ejemplo de movilidad social descendente. Se concluye que la auto-solidaridad, como posicionamiento autónomo frente al sinhogarismo, se desarrolla como una herramienta práctica en el auto-cuidado, un elemento de resiliencia y una vía para comprender el contexto vivencial y dirigir las demandas de apoyo.
