En esta publicación se presenta la metodología YouthME de empoderamiento mediante el video creada por la Asociación Grupo IFAM.Nace del proyecto europeo YouthME:Youth and Migration in Europe.Protection and social risk factors in the social integration of immigrant adolescent youth in Europe (2011-2013) financiado por el Programa Daphne III de la Unión Europea. Este proyecto tenía como objetivo identificar los diferentes factores de riesgo social y factores protectores de lo jóvenes inmigrados y dotar a los jóvenes con competencias personales para que pudieran jugar un papel de agentes de proximidad, conocidos como "Crossworkers", de manera que cuando éstos superan sus dificultades tienen la oportunidad de ayudar a otras personas El itinerario de empoderamiento para la transformación social con adolescentes y jóvenes en contextos de vulnerabilidad social consta de una extensa introducción y de dos documentos metodológicos: la guía del taller de empoderamiento y la guía de la formación de agentes de proximidad Crossworker.
Se presenta una investigación realizada en dos centros de Cáritas Diocesana de Barcelona que intervienen con adolescentes y jóvenes de familias inmigradas: el Centro Abierto Glamparetes (adolescentes de 14 a 16 años) y Casal de joves Llops Taga (jóvenes de 16 a 25 años). Los objetivos fueron conocer el grado de integración de los hijos e hijas de familias de origen inmigrante, identificar los principales factores de riesgo y de protección existentes y proponer propuestas de mejoras para llevar una mejor integración de esta población. La metodología que se ha desarrollado es de carácter cualitativa. Para conocer diferentes dimensiones de la vida de los adolescentes y jóvenes participantes en el estudio se han realizado 38 entrevistas en profundidad a los propios adolescentes y jóvenes, a miembros de sus familias (solo en el caso del Centre Obert), a los educadores referentes, a la trabajadora social de Servicios Sociales del territorio y al director o coordinador del centro abierto. Como resultados de la investigación se pone de relieve cómo la intervención en estos recursos es un factor preventivo de las situaciones de riesgo social (en los ámbitos jurídico, familiar, educativo, formativo, económico, salud e identitario), a la vez que aumenta los factores de protección. Igualmente, se destaca el papel del trabajo social en la prevención de situaciones de riesgo con este colectivo.
El presente artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación evaluativa participativa en el marco del proyecto AVENIR, cuyo propósito fue la elaboración de un enfoque global e inclusivo entre Francia y Cataluña destinado a mejorar el acceso al empleo y la integración de los/as jóvenes menores migrantes no acompañados. El análisis, centrado en Cataluña, elucida las potencialidades de la evaluación participativa, como herramienta de cambio y emancipación. Esta posición metodológica entrelaza la investigación evaluativa con la orientación y el acompañamiento de los agentes implicados, considerando sus inquietudes y posicionamientos. Se concluye mostrando la pertinencia de mantener un diálogo permanente con los agentes que permita no solo fomentar su implicación en el proyecto, sino reorientar el proceso hacia su fin último: la integración de los jóvenes en el territorio.
Aquest article vol mostrar la inadequació dels actuals serveis per a persones grans a les expectatives de lesbianes, gais, trans* i bisexuals (LGTB), així com divulgar les alternatives suggerides pels participants en la recerca que, sobre la seva situació, es va realitzar a Barcelona entre els anys 2013 i 2015. Es basa en la informació recollida a partir d’un grup de discussió format per 6 professionals que treballen amb persones grans al tercer sector, 4 entrevistes en profunditat a professionals dels serveis socials que s’identifiquen com a persones LGTB, i 243 enquestes contestades en línia per persones LGTB majors de 50 anys que viuen a la ciutat de Barcelona. Els resultats mostren que tant els professionals com les persones LGTB participants consideren que els actuals serveis per a persones grans són poc satisfactoris i es proposen accions de millora orientades a proporcionar major seguretat, així com la creació de nous serveis residencials que permetin un major control que els actuals per part de les persones usuàries.
