Generalized anxiety disorder is one the many types of anxiety disorder where there is excess of worry which is out of proportion to the impact of the event. The excess of worry disturb the normal functioning and these people are overly concerned about daily matters example such as health issue. Money, family problems, friendship, interpersonal relationship problem, work difficulties and death. The homoeopathic concept of disease is closely related with the concept of chronic miasm .it is a system of medicine which has its own unique etiological causes in form of three miasm ie psora, sycosis and syphilis. Psora is the root cause of all mental diseases and the dominant miasm in cases of all anxiety disorder.
To assess the evidence for homoeopathic medication taken orally in variouspotencies in the treatment for osteoarthritis. Randomized clinical trials as well as animal experiments comparing homoeopathic medicine to placebo or alternative therapies for osteoarthritis (OA) were considered for inclusion. Systematic database searches and manual backtracking through reference list were used to find them. Information on the result, statistical significance, comparison to the placebo or alternative treatment, and side effects were retrieved. The primary studies methodological caliber was assessed until January 2023. In this review, four trials were chosen, and three of them found evidence that the centesimal scale of potency was successful in treating OA. One study had potency on a decimalscale. The majority of the research design substances investigated lacked significant negative effects. The so-called most recent and fresh form of potencies, 50 millesimal (LM scale) has notyet been researched. As conclusion, we were unable to reach any conclusions regarding the proper scale of potency because the data from the published articles was so limited due to the dearth of randomized controlled trials in the field. It is expected that research would increase and focus in particular on the practical applicability of homoeopathic medicine in various potencies
Background: Migraine is fairly common condition affecting about 15% of the population globally and In GBD 2015, it absolutely was ranked as third highest reason for disability worldwide in both males and females under the age of fty years. Thus it is absolutely necessary and interesting to study the effectiveness of homoeopathic anti miasmatic remedies in patients with migraine. Methods: 30 cases of migraine were included in this non randomized clinical study out of 40 registered cases and the data collected during the study was analyzed with paired t test. The study was conducted for period of 18 months. Result: The study showed that the prevalence of migraine was more amongst females (83.33%) compared to male (16.66%). Moreover the age group 15-20 year age group ( 23.33%) followed by 25-30 years and 40-45 years (20%). During the study it was found that Natrum Muriaticum was indicated in moat of the cases ( 13.33%), followed by pulsetilla (10%) followed by lachesis, silicea and belladonna (6.66% each). The most common miasm was found to be sycotic miasm ( 53.33%) followed by psora miasm ( 30%) and syphilitic miasm ( 13.33%). Conclusion: After the study of 30 patients it was found that administration of anti miasmatic medicines in the patients with migraine showed changes in the frequency of episode of headache (Mean difference -2.167, SD of difference 0.7915, p value <0.001), intensity of pain (Mean difference -1.700, SD of difference 1.179, p value <0.001) and changes in quality of life score, MIDAS scores (Mean difference -2.167, SD of difference 0.7915, p value <0.001) which were statistically signicant.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
