For several years in Ukraine and in other countries, the activity of informal criminal groups, in particular, of the youth groups, can be observed. Thus, there is a need for theoretical understanding of the activities of the respective criminal groups in order to make proposals for improving the current criminal procedural legislation. The article emphasizes the importance of evidential information that can be obtained during the interrogation of victims of crimes committed by youth informal groups of extremist orientation. In this connection, the authors have considered: 1) the features of the victims to be taken into account when investigating the criminal activity of informal youth extremist groups; 2) sources of information on the identification of victims of crimes committed by members of youth informal groups of extremist orientation; 3) separate questions of questioning of the specified category of victims. The scientific literature devoted to informal youth groups, fight against extremism, investigation of group crimes, etc. was analyzed during the scientific research. In addition, such scientific methods as observation, analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, extrapolation were used. The empirical basis for the study was the investigation of crimes committed by members of youth informal groups (in particular, with extremist orientation). A promising area of scientific and applied research of the stated problem is the development of methodological recommendations on the conduct of communicative investigative (search) actions, in particular, the questioning of such a procedural figure as the victim.
In modern conditions of the development of public relations and political life, criminal activity in Ukraine is changing and transforming. In such transformational conditions, the commission of political crimes by members of informal youth groups is becoming more widespread. Given the above, the need to analyze political crimes committed by members of informal youth groups, methods, and means of combating such crimes, including foreign positive experience, becomes especially relevant. The work aims to analyze the means and methods of combating political crimes committed by members of such groups. The object of the research is the fight against political crimes committed by members of informal youth groups. The subject of the study is the social relations that arise, change, and end during the fight against political crimes committed by members of these groups. The research methodology is a set of different scientific methods, including observation, analysis, synthesis, extrapolation, generalization, comparison, dialectical method. The empirical basis of the study was the materials of the investigation of crimes committed by members of informal youth groups. As a result of the study, some issues of combating political crimes committed by members of informal youth groups were considered. Three main reasons for the participation of informal youth groups in political confrontations are highlighted, and certain issues of investigation of this type of criminal activity are considered.
The article is devoted to the analysis of some features of the investigation of football hooliganism. The current state and trends of football hooliganism are considered (including during the COVID-19 pandemic). The main problems faced by the investigation authorities during the detection and investigation of football hooliganism have been identified. In the process of working on the article, the scientific literature on informal youth groups, the fight against extremism, the investigation of group crimes of football fans was analyzed. The purpose of the study is to identify and study the features of the investigation of hooliganism committed by football fans. The object of research is the peculiarities of the investigation of hooliganism committed by football fans. During the writing of the article, the following methods were used: observation, analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, extrapolation, modeling, and information approach. As a result of the conducted research, the modern tendencies of football hooliganism are defined. Emphasis is placed on the peculiarities of the transformation of football fans. The principal problems of detection and investigation of football hooliganism are outlined, recommendations for prevention and counteraction to crimes committed by football fans are developed.

ВСТУПОстанніми роками у всьому світі відзначається зростання екстремістських проявів серед молоді: від таких розповсюджених форм кримінального екстремізму, як збудження національної, расової, релігійної, соціальної ворожнечі, приниження людської гідності та до такого крайнього прояву екстремізму, яким є тероризм. Він став безпрецедентною загрозою для держав світу, їхньої безпеки та розвитку. Боротьба з цим явищем є пріоритетною для правоохоронних органів багатьох держав, у яких воно перетворилося на серйозну перешкоду на шляху становлення демократичного суспільства.І якщо з випадками вчинення окремими особами злочинів екстремістського спрямування (злочинів на ґрунті ненависті) слідство достатньо успішно встановлює підозрюваних і доводить їхню вину, використовуючи для цього традиційні методики розслідування таких правопорушень (проти життя та здоров'я особи, вандалізму та ін.), то значно складніше у ситуаціях, пов'язаних із вчиненням групових, масових злочинів, що є кримінально-караними проявами молодіжної екстремістської діяльності.Науковцями-криміналістами підготовлені окремі криміналістичні методики розслідування злочинів зазначеної спрямованості (І.М. Білоус 1 , Н.О. Кононенко 2 , М.О. Ларкін 3 , П.В. Шалдирван 4 та ін.), але немає робіт, які б допомогли слідчим ефективно розслідувати сучасні групові кримінально-карані прояви екстремістської діяльності, учинені молодіжними неформальним групами (об'єднаннями).
