Виктор Александрович ШнирельманАннотация. Дается обзор современных подходов к изучению травматической памяти и ее интерпретации. Рассматриваются работы ведущих специалистов (Дж. Александер, А. Ассман, Дж. Верч, К. Карут, Д. Лакапра, Й. Рюзен, П. Хаттон и др.), показывающих сложность работы с коллективной травмой, которая в разных контекстах влечет разные последствия. Обсуждается применимость этих подходов к российской ситуации, имеющей свою специфику. Травма, связанная с ужасной катастрофой, оставляет глубокий шрам в сознании общества. Это может породить как нарратив, так и полное молчание. Травматическая память отличается гетерогенностью: она, во-первых, оставляет разные следы в разных группах (социальных, поколенческих, гендерных, этнических, расовых, конфессиональных) и разных нациях, а во-вторых, содержит различные интерпретации и оценки в зависимости от социального опыта и установок отдельных индивидов. Травма как факт коллективного восприятия вызывает сильные эмоции и опирается на множество символов, к которым прибегают как воображение, так и социальная практика. Иной раз столкновение кардинально разных взглядов на прошлое ведет к конфликтам. В ряде случаев происходит институционализация травматической памяти путем образования комиссий по расследованию преступлений и восстановлению справедливости, возведения памятников жертвам, создания музеев, учреждения дней скорби, организации ритуалов и церемоний. Преодоление травмы требует особых методов. Но иной раз само общество сопротивляется ее преодолению, так как виктимизация позволяет претендовать на возмещение или определенные социальные привилегии.
