Introduction:Anatomic disfigurement caused by zygomatic fracture warrants intervention tore establish facial symmetry. It is most predictably restored to pre morbid condition by ORIF.Aim:To evaluate the efficacy of 2 point fixation in Zygomaticomaxillary complex fractures.Material and Method:20 patients with established ZMC fractures were operated using two point fixation method and followed up for upto 3 months.Results:2 point fixation revealed satisfactory functional and esthetic results.Conclusion:2 point fixation offers efficient outcome as compared to other modalities of management of ZMC.
Barium enema studies are considered essential for the diagnosis of tubular colonic duplication with opacification of two colons being the diagnostic sign. Yet in certain cases, barium enema apparently does not show positive findings. A case is reported in which a barium follow-through study established the complete diagnosis of duplication of colon and terminal ileum. The findings were confirmed on laparotomy.
One of the most common neuralgic pains affecting the face is the pain of TN. Although numerous lines of treatment options are available for its treatment, all these have one or the other drawbacks. From our results, we can conclude that PBC technique offers more advantages than other surgical modalities and, therefore, should be preferred over other techniques of treatment.
