The urgency of studying the problem of involving teenagers in commercial sex is substantiated in the work. The purpose of the article is to define and characterize the indicators and criteria of the problem of attracting adolescents to commercial sex. The research methods used involve the use of general scientific and empirical techniques of socio-pedagogical and social science, based on a systematic approach. In addition, general research methods such as generalization and comparison were used in the process. The concept of «commercial sex» is considered. Socio-psychological criteria and indicators by which a child can be involved in commercial sex are described. The concept of commercial sexual exploitation of children and its forms are defined. The structure of types of sexual services provided by adolescents involved in commercial sex in Ukraine is described. It is stated that the use of minors in the form of commercial sexual exploitation is an aspect of sexual exploitation of minors. The sex industry is considered as a sphere of human activity, which includes the production of goods and services of a sexual nature. A set of pedagogical conditions has been identified that will provide counteraction to prevent the involvement of minors in commercial sex. It is noted that the prospect of further research is to develop ways to implement certain pedagogical conditions and the creation, testing, experimental testing of the effectiveness of technologies for the formation of adolescents’ readiness to counteract involvement in commercial sex. It is determined that the involvement of children in commercial sexual exploitation is a consequence of the general socio-cultural situation in the modern world due to the rejection of traditional human values from man, man from culture, etc., and specific socio-economic, psychological, socio-pedagogical, normative legal reasons that are inherent in Ukrainian society.
The purpose of the article is to define the concepts of «prostitution», «commercial sex» and outline the issue of the involvement of teenagers in commercial sex as a social problem. Research methods involve the use of general scientific and empirical methods of socio-pedagogical and social science based on a systemic approach. In addition, general research methods such as generalization and comparison were used in the process of work. The factors through which teenagers can be involved in commercial sex are characterized. It was determined that adolescent prostitution (exploitation of adolescents in prostitution) is a form of commercial sexual exploitation of adolescents, which violates their fundamental rights to life, freedom, sexual integrity, and others. The consequences of teenagers' involvement in commercial sex are characterized. The results of sociological studies on the prevalence of commercial sexual relations among adolescents are analyzed and presented. It is noted that the phenomenon of teenagers engaging in commercial sex has negative interrelated social, psychological, medical and legal consequences. Features of teenagers' involvement in commercial sex are outlined. It has been proven that the destruction of intersex relations is a significant problem of attracting teenagers to commercial sex. It is noted that with the development of technology, a new form of commercial sexual exploitation of children has appeared − commercial cybersex or exchange of photos and video clips, erotic conversations in exchange for money or other incentives. It was determined that minors involved in commercial sex do not want to get an education, a profession, or improve their personal development. The reasons for attracting teenagers to commercial sex are summarized. It was determined that the sexual exploitation of children poses a significant threat to society, and international and national legislation is obliged to protect them from all forms of sexual violence and depravity.
The article deals with the concept of commercial sexual exploitation of children. The forms of commercial sexual exploitation of children, among that there is child's prostitution, child's pornography, trading in children, child's sex-tourism, early marriage, are described. International documents, that regulate a legislation in relation to crimes, children related to commercial sexual exploitation, are considered. Work of ungovernmental organizations, that conduct active activity in relation to defence and help to the children that suffered from sexual violence, is described. It is noted that the fight against commercial sexual exploitation of children with sexual violence against children should be conducted, in addition to international, national and local levels. The principles of the legal principles and standards that should guide children's strategies and practices, including advocacy for the prevention of violence and measures to protect all children from all forms of violence are described. The economic, social and cultural rights that contain the provision according to which children should be protected from economic and social exploitation are indicated. It has been determined that commercial sexual exploitation of children is a violation of the rights of the child, which is considered as a subject of sex and the subject of trade; and includes sexual abuse of the child or exploitation of the child by an adult, as well as payment in cash or in kind. It has been established that the development of legislation and recognition of the problem of sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children at the national and international levels will be an impetus in combating the commercial sexual exploitation of children. It has been stressed that commercial sexual exploitation of children in many countries is particularly dangerous criminal activity, violating the rights of the child.
