Computer vision has been studied from many persective. It expands from raw data recording into techniques and ideas combining digital image processing, pattern recognition, machine learning and computer graphics. The wide usage has attracted many scholars to integrate with many disciplines and fields. This paper provide a survey of the recent technologies and theoretical concept explaining the development of computer vision especially related to image processing using different areas of their field application. Computer vision helps scholars to analyze images and video to obtain necessary information, understand information on events or descriptions, and scenic pattern. It used method of multi-range application domain with massive data analysis. This paper provides contribution of recent development on reviews related to computer vision, image processing, and their related studies. We categorized the computer vision mainstream into four group e.g., image processing, object recognition, and machine learning. We also provide brief explanation on the up-to-date information about the techniques and their performance.
Providing good services and satisfaction to customer is main concern on online business. As technology is developed rapidly, many online restaurants has sought user-friendly platform to serve their customer. The purpose of this research is to build an Android-based online order application for online delivery restaurant. We added features of outlets distribution and product promos. We also developed a more user-friendly interface as new design. Through Waterfall development method, we design the application which based of android APP Inventor framework. Based on the assessment result of four aspect (e.g., software engineering defect, learning design, visual communication), we got average scores of 2.45, 3.40, 3.35 and 3.07. The assessment results showed that our application design is eligible to be implemented for real situation with fairly eligible score. It is recommended that the application is implemented with partial improvement especially on the software engineering debugging to get a more decent score.
Selection of candidate of the programmer is a complex and tiring process. Software development manager must work hard to guarantee that only qualified candidates will be selected. This study the parameters needed by the programmer are proper and adequate knowledge, skills, attitudes, and productivity. Knowledge, skills, attitudes, and productivity are the four competencies that every programmer must-have. The four components above are very important in developing an IT company. This study proposes a classification model of programmer selection based on certain criteria, parameters, and attributes. This study modifies the Fuzzy Mamdani Method as the approach for determining the feasibility of the programmer. The proposed model has satisfied result of percent of accuracy with 75.57% level. The result indicates that the proposed model has produced a sufficient solution to be used in the real situation for selecting the feasible programmer.
The development of e-commerce site operators in Indonesia is now faced with intense competition for defending the market segment, especially regarding how e-commerce sites are attracting consumers through specific marketing strategies. This study implements a decision support system approach to help marketers to determine price discount alternatives using the Elimination et Choix Traduisant la Realite (ELECTRE) method. The ELECTRE method is widely recognized for having good performance in analyzing customer behavior criteria; however, there is little information about discount analysis using the ELECTRE method. This study implements a method for consumer behavior simulation that can be affected by the criteria to make a purchase on a simulated e-commerce website. Our model estimates three parts of the matrices' analysis: (a) average value of discounted price (DP); (b) average value of product brand (PB); and (c) average value of purchase decision (PD). We used these as the main alternatives; e.g., price discounts as first alternative (A1), brand discount as second alternative (A2), and purchase discount as third alternative (A3). Based on the results of the dominant aggregation matrix, the study found that the results are dominated by brand discount (A2). In other words, it is recommended for the decision maker to focus their discount on certain brands more precisely as a marketing strategy than price discount or purchase discount.
SOEs in Indonesia has been expanded their project with tight time and more challenged business climate. In fact, similar to private organization, SOEs also faced with employee performance in their projects. The employee performance has many aspects of social networking, organizational culture and employee engagement. This study tested the influence of social networking, organizational culture and employee engagement on in several projects which ventured by State Owned Enterprises in Indonesia. The variables are analyzed by using SEM AMOS. It is explained that social networking, organizational culture and employee engagement affect employee engagement in SOEs-based projects in Indonesia. This study suggested an approach to improve social networking, organizational culture and employee engagement as new strategies for SOEs in Indonesia. This study result can be a recommendation to the SOEs managers to maintain social networking, organizational culture and employee engagement in order their project to be manageable.
