Das Studium der Regeneration der Milz nach totaler oder teilweiser Exstirpation des Organes hat zahlreiche Forseher besch/iftigt (Jambeccari, Meyer, Sussana, Gerlach, Eberhard, Bdclard, Ve~ya, Legros, Eternod, Phil~peaux, Peyrani, Tilleh, Foat 1), jedoch sind die Ergebnisse nicht fibereinstimmend, da ein Tell die MSglichkeit einer Regeneration (Regeneration des Organes) behaupten, w~hrend andere dieselbe verneinen. Ceresole bemerkte nach totaler oder teilweiser Exstirpation des Organes wader eine Regeneration der Milz, noch Vers der Lymphdriisen, der Schilddrfise und des Knochenmarkes. Im Gegensatz dazu beschrieben J. Abelous, R. Argaud und I. C. SouIa eine Regeneration der Milz nach Splenektomie, als ,,glandes splenoides n~oform~es telles quelles, ou provenant de ganglions pr6existants, on encore des granulations mieroscopiques jusqu'alors, qui se sont hypertrophi6es et en grande pattie metap]asi6es dans un but de vicariance sp~niques" 2 Versuche fiber Wiedererzeugung der Lymphdrfisen sind viel seltener. Dennoch nimmt man nach Most an, dag sogar beim erwachsenen Menschen mit Bestimmtheit Neubildungen yon LymphgefgBen und Lymphdriisen entstehen kSnnen (zit. nach Oeller: Lymphdrfisen und lymphatisetms System). Der Zweck unserer Versuehe war, einerseits die Wiedererzeugung yon ]ymphoiden Bildungen nach Exstirpation einer groBen Anzahl yon Lymphdrtisen und Ausscha]tung der Milz nachzuprfifen, andererseits die Wiederherstellung der lymphatischen Zirkulation in den Gegenden der exstirpierten Drfisen zu untersuchen.Die Versuche wurden an Hunden angestellt. Dabei haben wir nicht die Exstirpation der Milz angewendet, welehe ein vial zu ernster Eingriff ffir die Tiere ist (da die Frage, die nns besch/~ftigte, die Wiedererzeugung der lymphatisclaen Drfisen war), sondern die Unterbindung der Milzvene, eine Operation, die sehon lange Zeit in unserem Laboratorium iiblich ist, nnd welche ein langes (~berleben des Tieres gestattet, wobei sie
