Ao estabelecer diálogos com o doc–ficção Afronte (2017), dirigido por Marcus Mesquita e Bruno Victor, sobre homossexuais negros no Distrito Federal, este artigo trata de poéticas de resistência à heterossexualidade normativa e o sujeito branco como padrão do que seria humanidade. O trabalho parte da relação entre processos estéticos e identitários, para tratar do processo do ator de ser/tornar-se homossexual negro e também dos diversos modos como essas identidades engendram o processo criativo-inventivo de composição da personagem VH no filme. Apresentamos escrevivências do ser ator negro em performatividade conjulgando Afronte como verbo para por em cheque as questões de representação de homossexuais negros — masculinidades negras não hegemônicas — e trilhar caminhos em arte que desestabilizem a história única, reducionista e normativa, impulsionando a emergência das pluralidades.
