Los movimientos de circulación globales de información, personas y capitales vienen generando desde comienzos del nuevo milenio un giro de información cultural y artística –más audiovisual e interconectada- que han puesto en marcha mecanismos de relación e influencia distintos y más complejos entre realidad y ficción que los pasados. Lo posnacional se conforma como una categoría crítica extendida, y deben ser examinadas sus características y exploradas las formas (estructurales, estilísticas, lingüísticas) en que han podido producir un impacto o influjo en la literatura Transatlántica contemporánea, con un sentido colectivo, plural e interrelacionado. Una de sus nuevas formas creativas podría denominarse novela glocal, algunos de cuyos caracteres se examinan en el presente artículo.
En estas casi dos décadas del siglo XXI, la narrativa española ha oscilado entre dos polos socio-geográficos; por un lado, la recuperación del apego a lo local e incluso a lo rural, mediante la ambientación de las tramas en espacios reconociblemente campestres o de pueblo; por otro, una consciencia clara de los procesos de globalización en los que las sociedades occidentales se hallan todavía inmersas, pese a los fenómenos recientes que parecen combatir esa dinámica, como el Brexit. En este texto comentaremos estas tendencias, centrándonos en la ‘neorrural’, para verificar hasta qué punto pueden tener algún punto de encuentro en lo que se ha denominado una postura glocal, con sus características literarias propias.
