Introducción: la evaluación del crecimiento de los pacientes basado en su edad cronológica, edad dental, edad ósea es relevante para poder dar un diagnóstico y plantear un tratamiento adecuado cuando acuden a la consulta odontológica. Objetivo: relacionar la edad cronológica, edad dental y edad ósea en pacientes de 6 a 11 años. Materiales y Métodos: el trabajo realizado es de tipo observacional, transversal y descriptivo en el que se analizó una muestra de imágenes radiológicas que constan de panorámicas y cefalométricas de 100 niños entre 6 a 11 años, seleccionados del centro radiológico Denta Imagen y del centro dental Joy’s Dental en el año 2020. Se determinó la edad cronológica de cada paciente según su historia clínica. Se obtuvo la edad dental según el método de Demirjian y la edad ósea a través del análisis de maduración vertebral de Baccetti. Resultados: se determinó un valor de R cuadrado de 0.28 entre la edad cronológica y la edad ósea, un valor de 0.57 para la relación de la edad dental y la edad cronológica y un valor de 0.22 en la relación de la edad dental y ósea. Conclusión: la relación entre la edad cronológica y dental presentó un grado significativo de relación estadística, la relación entre la edad dental y la edad ósea no fue significativa. Se deberían realizar estudios con mayor número de muestras para tener resultados más sólidos y confiables.
