In this study, the relation between the distribution curve shape and the structural characteristics of data over an extending time interval is examined. It is found that the distribution curve shape varies over time, and tends to the S-shape as a consequence of the changes in the internal structure of data. The approach applied in the analysis of experimental data involves subdivision of data sets into subsets obtained by dividing the period over which the data are collected into several subperiods.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
