Customers file lawsuits against an energy distribution company when they are dissatisfied with its service. During legal proceedings, the involved lawyers need to have quick access to clear information on the client's relationship with the company. Considering the large volume of data that electric companies need to analyze about the relationship with their customers, in this work we present the development of a chatbot with the purpose of providing assistance to lawyers. After defining the set of most asked questions, modeling the flow of dialogues and automating queries to the company's database, the chatbot was developed using the IBM Watson natural language processing platform. The chatbot was evaluated by an analyst external to the development process, allowing the analysis of the current state of the proposal and identifying improvement opportunities.
