Children are generations or descendants as a result of the relationship between men and women, whether in marriage or not. Early childhood is an individual who is experiencing a period of very rapid growth, even though now the entire world is experiencing the Covid-19 pandemic, it is not an obstacle to children's development and growth. With the pandemic, the government is implementing learning at home, the use of technology media is the main key in online learning. This study aims to describe the impact of using gadgets in early childhood in the aspects of language development. This research was conducted using the literature study method in which journals, books and other sources reinforce this research.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan mental dan social anak dimasa pandemic Covid-19. Wabah covid yang menyerang seluruh dunia menimbulkan dampak yang besar bagi seluruh aspek termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Pemerintah menginstruksikan segala kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan kegiatan belajar mengajar dilakukan secara daring dirumah masing-masing. Hal tersebut berpengaruh langsung terhadap perkembangan mental dan social anak yang biasanya dapat berinteraksi diluar kini dirumah dengan cara daring. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah model kuantitatif dengan pendekatan studi literature. Dengan hasil penelitian didapati bahwa selama masa Pandemi Covid-19 terjadi penurunan pada perkembangan mental dan social anak.
Learning media is growing with many variations. However, learning media that are devoted to the development of speaking skills in children aged 5-6 years using a scientific approach are very limited. The innovation of learning media in Early Childhood Education should be encouraged. The purpose of this research is to produce a scientificbased Pop-Up Book to improve children's speaking skill. This research is a research and development (R&D) with aims to produce the pop up media that can be implemented for speaking activities. The data collection techniques used are observation, and questionnaires. Then data will be analyzed to determine the level of effectiveness, accuracy and attractiveness of the product. The result obtained from this research is the production of Pop-up Book media that can help improve child speaking skill.
