Hematohidrosis is a very rare condition of sweating blood. A child's case who presented to us with hematohidrosis is reported. There are only few reports in the literature. A 10-year-old boy presented to our hospital with a history of repeated episodes of oozing of blood from navel, eyes, ear lobules, and nose. During the examination, it disappeared as soon as it was mopped leaving behind no sign of trauma only to reappear within a few seconds. Bleeding time, clotting time, and prothrombin time were normal. Patient was diagnosed with hematohidrosis and oppositional defiant disorder clinically. Management of this condition at our center is discussed below.

A series of 20 compounds having thiazolo[3, 2‐a]pyrimidine chemical scaffold were synthesized and evaluated for their antileishmanial activity against promastigotes of Leishmania donovani. Amongst all, two compounds showed promising antileishmanial activity in comparison to other compounds. Inhibitory concentration 50% (IC50) was calculated as 42.1 μM and 25.1 μM with selectivity index of 8.3 and 6.05, respectively against Miltefosine (reference drug) 37.78 μM with selectivity index of 2.05. To confirm the target of the these molecules, we modelled Leishmania donovani Ca2+ ion channel (LdCC) protein and performed the docking analysis of the best antileishmanial activity exhibiting inhibitors. The free energy of binding was observed as −10.2 and −9.6 kcal mol−1 in comparison to reference drug −6.2 kcal mol−1. It also makes several hydrogen bonds with our conserved residue Ser1655, Tyr1598 and Asn927. Furthermore, several hydrophobic contacts were also observed within the pocket. Finally, computational work employing density functional theory (DFT) was also carried out to investigate the electronic properties of the synthesized compounds. The in vitro and in silico activities conclusively revealed that our lead compounds may be used as a novel therapeutics against leishmaniasis.

In the present study, protective efficacy of Escherichia coli capsular antigen, K13, was evaluated in a mouse model of pyelonephritis. Unconjugated capsular polysaccharide failed to provide any protection. However, coupling of K13 to diphtheria toxoid (DT) enhanced its immunogenicity and led to significant production of anticapsular antibodies in mice. Immunization of animals with K13-DT conjugate also caused significant improvement in cell-mediated immune response as indicated by an increase in lymphoblastogenic response and in the CD4+/CD8+ cell ratio of splenic lymphocytes. Significant decrease in bacterial load and renal severity scores were observed in K13-DT immunized animals. Suitability of K13-DT conjugate as an effective vaccine candidate against urinary tract infections caused by E. coli has been discussed.

First, it explores the present position and current application of artificial intelligence and automation like robotics research in daily modern contemporary society, showcasing their use in each sector of the tourism and hospitality sectors; secondly, it analysed the Artificial intelligence and robotics impact on employment and job opportunities, consumers, and as well as businesses and society at large. Lastly, it examines the possible future trends of AI and robots in the tourism and hospitality sector to see what advantages or dangers may be derived from their use.
