Abstract-The development of embedded software for mobile phones requires a thorough knowledge of development processes, technologies and constraints related to software and hardware. Moreover, the growing competitiveness of this niche demands high productivity and quality. In this way, there is a need to invest in continuous improvement of processes, research for new technologies and methodologies, and increasing project performance to meet client needs and expectations. This paper proposes SLeSS, an integration approach of Scrum and Lean Six Sigma used in real projects of developing embedded software customizations for mobile phones. This approach enables the achievement of performance and quality targets, progressively improving the development process and the outcome of projects.
