Introdução: Incontinência Urinária (IU) é a perda inesperada de urina. É um problema, que é equivocadamente subentendido como sendo algo normal do processo de envelhecimento. A fisioterapia como forma de tratamento na IU, irá proporcionar a melhora e/ou a cura através da educação da função miccional, orientação a respeito do uso correto da musculatura do assoalho pélvico, proporcionando o compreendimento de técnicas e exercícios para aquisição do fortalecimento muscular, sendo seu objetivo principal a reeducação da musculatura do assoalho pélvico, bem como o seu fortalecimento. Objetivo: Relatar a influência da fisioterapia como método de tratamento para idosas com incontinência urinária. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica do tipo revisão integrativa da literatura, feita por meio da busca nas bases de dados Google scholar, PEDro e PubMed. Resultados: Foram incluídos 7 artigos nesta revisão, que utilizaram o tratamento fisioterapêutico em idosas com incontinência urinária. Conclusão: Através dos resultados alcançados neste trabalho, a fisioterapia se mostra de fundamental importância na melhora ou cura dos sinais e sintomas das pacientes com incontinência urinária, em que, por meio de técnicas e exercícios dispostos pela fisioterapia, favorece também a melhora da qualidade de vida.
Introdução: Paralisia Cerebral (PC) é um grupo de desordem neurológica não progressiva da infância que acomete crianças e recém-nascidos, sendo a causa mais comuns de incapacidade na infância. Existe vários tratamentos que pode dar uma qualidade de vida para os pacientes, porém são poucos o tratamento que foque nas estruturas em torno da lesão. A Neuromodulação Não Invasiva (NMNI) vem sendo considerado uma tecnologia inovadora com resultados benéficos em desordem neurológica, através das técnicas Estimulação Transcraniana por Corrente Continua (TDCS) e Estimulação Magnética Transcraniana (TMS). Objetivo: Analisar através de trabalhos publicados se a NMNI tem capacidade de potencializar a neuroplasticidade em paciente acometidos por PC. Método: Esse trabalho utilizou o método de revisão integrativa utilizada palavras chaves “Contínuous Transcranial Current Smulation”, “Transcranial Magnética Stimulaton”, “Repetitive Trascranial Magnética Stimulaton” “Cerebral Palsy”, “Estimulação Transcraniana por Corrente Continua” e “Paralisia Cerebral”. As pesquisas foram selecionadas entre o ano de 2016 a 2021 nos bancos de dados PubMED, Google Scholar e Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS). Resultados: A NMNI é utilizada como tratamento associado a outra técnica, tendo resultados no aumento e diminuição de ondas cerebrais melhorando a velocidade e qualidade da marcha, equilíbrio, mobilidade, cognição, linguagem, diminuição da espasticidade, potencializando os efeitos por mais tempo. Conclusão: A NMNI através da TDCS e TMS é capaz de prolongar os efeitos obtidos quando associada a outra técnica, repercutindo na capacidade funcional e cognitiva dos pacientes com PC, os estudos ainda são recentes principalmente quando o grupo alvo é crianças, mas os estudos têm apontados benefícios.
