Puberty and its consequence changes are one of the most important events of each person's life. Knowledge about puberty health lead to successful passage of this period. This study was aimed to determine factors predicting the knowledge of girl students about puberty health in Tabriz high schools. This study was a cross-sectional study conducted on 364 students in seventh and eighth grades in 2015. The participants were selected using random cluster sampling. Their knowledge and socio-demographic characteristics about puberty health were collected using selfcompleted questionnaires which is standardized questionnaire for Iran society. General Linear Model was used for determining the socio-demographic predictors of knowledge about puberty health. The mean score of students' knowledge was 8.26±2.21 (in the range of 0-15 scores). Fathers' education (P=0.023) and previous obtained information (P=0.001) were knowledge predictors. Regarding the mean score of students' knowledge and their direct relationship some factors such as father's education, it is suggested to increase the knowledge of parents especially mothers about puberty health by health providers at schools and the related organization using in present learning pamphlets, sessions and classes.
The present study aims to compare the effect of a period of micro needling and impact of training in water in the treatment of women with varicose legs. For this purpose, 30 women were selected as subjects with varicose veins of the lower limb. After randomization of subjects into three groups of 10 people, for 20 weeks, a meeting every 4 weeks and a total of 5 sessions using micro needling and training in water was conducted on patients. The control group did not have any therapeutic interventions. To analyze the data, paired and independent t-test were used at a signifi cance level of 05/0> P. The fi ndings have shown that among the measured values the improvement index before and after the test for micro needling signifi cantly increases and decreases respectively 05/0> P. The results showed that the use of micro needling can be used as a safe and effective treatment in people with varicose veins of the lower body. The study showed a 76 percent reduction in the size of the ankle after a week of treatment of the groups receiving training in water.
The aim of the present research was to examine the effect of micro needling therapy on quality of life in women suffering from skin-deep varicose leg. For this purpose 20 patients with varicose veins of the lower limb with the height of 6/1 ± 163/1 cm, weight 4/6 ± 70/1 kg and fat content 6/5 ± 32/4 were selected purposefully, as the subjects. After randomization of subjects into two groups of 10 subjects for 20 weeks, every 4 weeks for a total of 5 sessions a meeting with patients was conducted using Micro needling, the control group did not have any therapeutic intervention. To analyze the data, independent t-test at a signifi cance level of 05/0> P were used. The fi ndings show that between the measured values of quality of life index before and after the test respectively, there is signifi cant increase and a signifi cant reduction of 05/0> P. The results showed that the use of micro-needling can be considered as a safe and effective treatment in enhancing the quality of life in patients with varicose veins of lower limbs.
