Cost-effectiveness analysis of cultivation of planting material of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) with the application of the growth stimulator Crezacin in the nursery of Primorsky region is presented. The cost is 741,02 rub./seedling.
We studied the effect of pelleting on field germination of seeds and biometric parameters (stem height, root neck diameter, root length and total biomass) of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) seedlings of the second and third years of growth in the Primorsky Territory. It was found that the germination capacity of pelleted seed was 6,8 % lower than the control samples values, but seedlings of the second year of growth obtained from seed material subjected to pelleting showed values higher than the control ones by 21,9 %. At the same time, root length exceeded the control samples by an average of 10,3 %, while the diameter of the root neck was on average 16,1 % larger, and the total biomass increased by 35,1 %. For seedlings of the third year of growth, similar indicators were higher by 30,4 %; 27,9 %; 14,7 % and 71,1 %, respectively. In the future, it is recommended to study the effect of pelleting on the subsequent growth of Scots pine seedlings.
Khinghan fir (Abies nephrolepis (Trautv.) Maxim.) is the most common species among the conifers of Primorsky Krai. It plays an important role in forest consumption. However, forest fires and logging lead to a reduction in the range of this species. Thanks to the use of growth stimulants, it is possible to accelerate the restoration of the Far Eastern fir. The aim of the research was to study the effect of the growth stimulants Ribav-Extra and Epin-Extra on germinative energy, laboratory seed germination and morphometric parameters of sprouts (length and weight) of Khinghan fir (Abies nephrolepis (Trautv.) Maxim.). According to GOSTS, the experiments were carried out in four repetitions in seven different concentrations of solutions (1×10-3 – 1×7×10-3 ml/l). Control − seeds soaked in distilled water. The length of sprouts was measured with the use of an electronic caliper. The mass of sprouts was weighed on an electronic balance. The conducted studies showed, that Ribav-Extra had the greatest effect on sowing qualities of seeds (germinative energy and laboratory germination) at the solution concentrations of 1×2×10-3- 1×7×10-3 ml/l, amounting to 4-16% (excess to the control − 21.2-384.8%). For laboratory germination (21.4-33.1%) − at the concentrations of 1×3×10-3-1×6×10-3 ml/l (excess to the control − 127.7-252.1%). Epin-Extra showed a more active effect on the energy of seed germination with the solution concentrations of 1×2×10-3-1×6×10-3 ml/l, amounting to 4-16%. Excess to the control − 21.2-384.8%. The concentration of solutions 1×3×10-3 - 1×5×10-3 ml/l had a positive effect on laboratory germination of seeds (13-33%), exceeding the control by 38.3-251.1%. An increase in seed quality classes was noted: from the third to the second and first. These stimulants also proved to be effective for increasing the biometric parameters of sprouts (length and weight). Thus, a significant effect of Ribav-Extra on the increase in the length of sprouts was noted at the concentrations of 1×10-3-1×6×10-3 ml/l (excess to the control − 7.7-50%); in Epin-Extra – with the solutions of 1×4×10-3-1×7×10-3 ml/l, exceeding the control by 7.7-40%. Ribav-Extra had a positive effect on the increase in the mass of sprouts in all concentrations of solutions (excess to the control − 5.1-79.5%). Epin-Extra is less effective.
The article presents the study of the stimulating effect of aqueous solutions of growth stimulants Crezacin and Zircon, and the identification of doses that activate the germinative energy, laboratory germination of seeds and the growth of biometric parameters of sprouts along the length and weight of Khingam fir (Abies nephrolepis). The greatest stimulating effect on the sowing qualities of Khingam fir seeds by the Crezacin and Zircon shown in the concentrations of solutions of 1∙3∙10-3–1∙6∙10-3 ml/l. Germinative energy and laboratory germination of seeds exceeded the control group by 84.8-293.9, 106.4-273.4% and 112.1-203, 59.6-187.2%, respectively. The seed quality class increased from the third to the second and first ones. The growth stimulator Crezacin had a more positive effect on the growth of sprouts along the length and weight at solution concentrations of 1∙2∙10-3–1∙6∙10-3 and 1∙2∙10-3–1∙7∙10-3 ml/l (excess to control group – 7,7–41,7 and 6,1-61,4%). Zircon is less effective. Its positive effect on the growth of the length and mass of sprouts was noted at concentrations of 1∙4∙10-3–1∙5∙10-3 and 1∙2∙10-3–1∙7∙10-3 ml/l (excess to control group – 8,3–25 and 6,1-46,5%).
The results on the effect of the growth stimulator Ekopin of different concentrations on germinative energy, laboratory germination and biometric parameters of Manchurian fir (Abies holophylla Maxim.) sprouts are presented.
Ekopin had the most stimulating effect on germinative energy - in all solution concentrations, on the laboratory germination with concentrations 1·2·10-3-1·7·10-3 ml/l. All studied solution concentrations of the preparation had positive effect on the growth of biometric parameters of sprouts along the length and the concentrations 1∙2∙10-3-1∙5∙10-3 ml/l - along the mass.
