Резюме. Порожнина рота є екологічною системою, яку заселяють більше 700 видів мікроорганізмів, організовані у біоплівку. Явища дисбіозу відіграють важливу роль у патогенезі пародонтиту. Мета дослідження – здійснити порівняльний аналіз частоти колонізації мікроорганізмами порожнини рота у щурів контрольної групи та у тварин із пародонтитом без супутньої патології і на тлі гіпер- та гіпотиреозу. Матеріали і методи. Досліди проведено на 48 безпородних статевозрілих білих щурах-самцях масою 180–200 г. Забір матеріалу для мікробіологічних досліджень (з поверхні зубів на межі твердої тканини та ясен у міжзубних проміжках) проводили за допомогою стандартного стерильного тампона транспортної системи «Sarstedit» (Німеччина). Ідентифікацію виділених чистих культур проводили за морфологічними, тинкторіальними, культуральними, біохімічними властивостями та ознаками патогенності. Результати досліджень та їх обговорення. Зіставляючи видовий склад і відсоток виділення окремих видів мікроорганізмів у щурів контрольної групи та тварин із змодельованим пародонтитом, встановлено зміни якісного складу мікрофлори, що проявилися появою штамів Staph. аureus, E. coli, P. аeruginosa і дріжджоподібних грибів роду Candida albicans. Порівнюючи між собою видовий склад і відсоток виділення окремих видів мікроорганізмів у щурів із змодельованим пародонтитом без супутньої патології і на тлі тиреоїдної дисфункції встановлено відсутність змін у видовому складі, проте вірогідно вищу частоту колонізації для штамів Staph. аureus і дріжджоподібних грибів роду Candida albicans. При цьому вірогідних змін між групами з пародонтитом на тлі гіпер- та гіпотиреозу не виявлено. Висновки. Дистрофічно-запальний процес у пародонті щурів на тлі тиреоїдної дисфункції супроводжується збільшенням видової кількості мікроорганізмів, що, ймовірно, є чинником посилення запальних процесів у пародонті, зміни його функціональних і антигенних властивостей, а також чинником модуляції місцевих і системних імунних реакцій.
