This paper describes an apparatus for the measurement of thermal
conductivity at pressure and reports
the thermal conductivity of poly(ethylsiloxane) liquids at high
pressures. The experimental results are
presented on the thermal conductivities of three
poly(ethylsiloxane) liquids at pressures up to 200
MPa
in the temperature range 293 K to 473 K. The maximum relative
error of measurement is ±1.6%.
Equations are given which fix the results over the temperature and
pressure ranges studied.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
