The results of a study of the method of individual selection of parts when assembling machines containing multilink
dimensional chains are presented. It is shown that the use of the proposed algorithm for the selection of parts can
signifi cantly increase the accuracy of such machines at low cost, which makes it possible to provide the required quality
of their assembly at a lower cost.
The paper highlights the methods to define wear intensity of cutting tools using the theory of similarity. The dimensionless numbers of the cutting procedures, which are necessary in calculating cutting tool wear intensity, are defined with regard to the cutting conditions, cutting tool geometry, and the physico-mechanical properties of the work stock and the tool materials.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
