Biomedical investigations of poly[bis(trifluoroethoxy)phosphazene] with M̄Sη, = 16 · 106 and a very regular composition of the chain have been carried out. The polymer contains only 5.8·10−4 mole fractions of anomalous units with unsubstituted PCl groups. More than 100 samples of poly[bis(trifluoroethoxy)phosphazene] as films and sutureless tubes were investigated in ex vivo experiments with dogs in respect to thrombocytic tests and the dynamics of parietal thrombogenesis. It is shown that the polyfluoroalkoxyphosphazene possesses higher thromboresistance than polyethylene and polytetrafluoroethylene.
The kinetics of cyclotrimerization of mono‐ and diarylcyanates in the presence of ZnCl2 in substance as well as in nitrobenzene and ditolylmethane has been investigated. The reaction was found to be accelerated. The order of reaction of the monomer and catalyst were determined. The acceleration of the cyclotrimerization of arylcyanates by ZnCl2 is caused by rearrangement of the coordination sphere of Zn.
