Аннотация. Представлены результаты исследования содержания растворенного кислорода в водах Азовского моря в осенне-зимний период 2015 г. Отмечено сходство полученных результатов с данными наблюдений в маловодный период 1957-1960 гг. Ситуация с насыщением придонного слоя растворенным кислородом была более благоприятной в 2015 г. Results of the research touching upon the content of the dissolved oxygen in waters of the Sea of Azov at the end of summer and at the end of autumn period of 2015 are presented. Similarity of the received results with 1957-1960 given observations during the shallow period is noted. At the same time the situation with saturation of the benthonic layer with the dissolved oxygen was more favorable in 2015.
Results of in situ fluorescence investigations on chlorophyll-a (chl-a) of phytoplankton in the Sea of Azov (May to June 2018) and in the Don River estuary (September to November 2019) are presented. Continuous data series of chl-a fluorescence were obtained with flow-through fluorometers. Discrete reference measurements of chl-a concentration and phytoplankton biomass were performed by standard methods for the sake of comparison and eventual corrections. The fluorescence intensity values measured in a lateral surface salinity gradient of the Sea of Azov were found correlating with the obtained data on the chl-a concentration (R 2 = 0.88, n = 27) and phytoplankton biomass (R 2 = 0.90, n = 11). Instead, there was a weak correlation (R 2 = 0.40, n = 33) between the fluorescence and phytoplankton biomass found in the estuary. This disparity in correlations was explained by the difference in conditions during measurements, which affected the fluorescence. There were no significant changes in both temperature and coenotic composition of phytoplankton in the course of the marine expedition. The measurements on the river covered a period characterized by the seasonal variations in the phytoplankton composition and by noticeable temperature fluctuations.
Аннотация. На основе базы данных инструментальных наблюдений, сформированной в Южном научном центре РАН (ЮНЦ РАН) в 2006-2016 гг. выполнен анализ пространственной неодноро дности гидрохимических характеристик в водном континууме Нижний Дон-Черное море. Водный континуум включает в себя: приустьевую часть реки Дон, Таганрогский залив, Азовское море, Керченский пролив и северо-восточную часть Черного моря. Для пяти характерных районов рассчитаны статистические показатели таких величин как концентрация общей взвеси, растворенного и взвешенного органического углерода, растворенных минеральных и общих форм азота и фосфора, кремния, хлорофилла-А.
