O presente artigo se dedica a apresentar as relações entre o estado do Amapá (BR) e a Guiana Francesa (Departamento Ultramarino Francês), espaços que se assemelham por se tratar de regiões periféricas e de fronteira. Os dois territórios são interligados pelo corredor rodoviário da BR 156 e pela ponte binacional, o que gera uma maior integração e que pode influenciar no desenvolvimento do estado do Amapá. Desta forma, a dúvida que norteou essa pesquisa foi "como o corredor rodoviário da BR 156 influencia o desenvolvimento regional do estado do Amapá (Brasil) e suas relações de integração com a Guiana Francesa (França)?". Em vista disso, levantou-se a seguinte hipótese: O corredor rodoviário da BR 156 possui pouca influência no desenvolvimento regional do estado do Amapá (Brasil) e nas suas relações de integração com a Guiana Francesa (França).A abordagem metodológica foi de ordem qualitativa e quantitativa, além disso, é também descritiva, exploratória, explicativa e comparativa. A partir disso, como discussão teórica, foram relacionados os objetivos específicos, sendo estes, caracterizar as duas regiões, apresentar conceitos sobre desenvolvimento regional, estudos de fronteiras, e as relações comerciais entre regiões periféricas, e por fim apresentar a influência do corredor rodoviário da BR 156 na integração entre o estado do Amapá (Brasil) com a Guiana Francesa (França).
RESUMO -As operações para separação mais comuns em processos químicos industriais são os de flash e destilação e em ambos é necessária a previsão das condições de equilíbrio líquido-vapor. Contribuindo para o desenvolvimento de ferramentas de fácil acesso e disseminação do conhecimento dos métodos termodinâmicos de equilíbrio líquido-vapor, este trabalho apresenta uma proposta de implementação dos métodos termodinâmicos de previsão de equilíbrio líquido-vapor de sistemas binários para n-componentes baseados no modelo UNIFAC. A ferramenta computacional foi desenvolvida com o Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), para permitir a integração de novos componentes ao banco de dados, como também o ajuste de parâmetros necessários à complementação do método UNIFAC. O estudo de caso avaliado foi o sistema binário água e etanol, o qual apresentou valores muito próximos de equilíbrio líquido-vapor, quando comparado com o mesmo sistema na plataforma Aspen Plus®. Dessa forma, o desenvolvimento de ferramentas em VBA é uma alternativa tecnológica para estudos e aplicações em processos químicos quanto ao equilíbrio líquido-vapor. INTRODUÇÃOO estudo termodinâmico das soluções é essencial para a avaliação de como a matéria prima irá se comportar ao longo do processo de transformação para o produto desejado. A interação dos componentes em solução pode ser modelada de forma que seu comportamento consiga ser traduzido por equações matemáticas, que têm sido desenvolvidas com base em determinadas restrições e particularidades observadas na natureza química dos componentes. Modelos tais como Peng-Robinson, Wilson, UNIQUAC, UNIFAC ou NRTL podem descrever a fase líquida e/ou a fase vapor no equilíbrio de fase. (SMITH, 2007) O método termodinâmico UNIFAC foi fundamentado na proposta de que, calculando a interação entre os grupos funcionais das moléculas, é possível determinar o coeficiente de atividade. Este último é uma variável que busca prever o nível de atividade da substância baseado em um estado de referência. (FREDENSLUND et. al. 1975) (FREDENSLUND et. al. 1977).
