In a previous paper [1] the appearance of a high field domain was found in the injected electron‐hole plasma of germanium. The present paper gives a description and interpretation of the three effects caused by the domain formation. These are the memory effect connected with the heating of the domain by the current, the extinguishing of the initial peak of current by a magnetic field, and the oscillations of the current resulting from the domain movement along the sample.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
