Triazine derivativesTriazine derivatives R 0655 Synthesis, Structure and Bioactivity of Some Sulfur-Containing sym-Triazine Derivatives. -The synthesis of a series of new sulfur-substituted triazine derivatives [cf. (V), (VIII), (XI)] by nucleophilic substitution reactions of cyanuric chloride (VI) or related ammonium salts [cf. (III), (IX)] and their screening for growth-promoting and antidote activities are described. -(MIKHAILICHENKO, S. N.; CHESHYUK, A. A.; SUSLOV, V. I.; YUKHOMENKO, M. M.; ZAPLISHNYI, V. N.; Izv. Vyssh.
Synthesis and Properties of Some Nitrogen-Containing Derivatives of 1,3,5-Triazine.-A variety of new amines, [cf. (III), (VII)], nitriles [cf. (IX)] and azides [cf. (X)] of the 1,3,5-triazine series are synthesized by nucleophilic substitution of chlorine atoms in cyanuric chloride (I) or its 2,6-disubstituted derivatives such as (III). Some of the functionalized triazines obtained possess antidote activity. -(MIKHAILICHENKO, S. N.; CHES-NYUK, A. A.; SUSLOV, V. I.; SHKREBETS, A. I.; YUKHONENKO, M. M.; ZAPLISHYI, V. N.; Izv.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
