In the present work the connection between magnetic properties and texture of two samples of the tetragonal Mn-A1 phase is investigated. The specimens have been prepared by different cold deformation methods to get various texture types. For texture analysis neutron time-of-flight technique has been applied. Some aspects of the mathematical treatment of c.xperinienta1 data has been discussed. The main texture coniponents in the inverse pole figures are inclined with respect to the direction of easy magnetization. Therefore, improved iiiagnetic properties of the material can be expected using more optimal preparation techniques.I n der vorliegenden Arbeit wird die Wechselwirkung zwischen den magnetischeri Eigenschaften uncl dor Textur von zwei Proben der tetragonalen Phase von Mil-A1 untc.rsucht.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
