В пределах юго-восточного фланга интрузивного массива Кувалорог выполнены исследования зон измененных пород, которые простираются в северо-восточном направлении и охватывают верховья р. Правокихчинская и р. Перевозная. В статье дана минералого-петрографическая характеристика метаморфогенно-метасоматических образований из этих тектонически ослабленных зон и рассмотрены возможности их рудоносности. Изучение измененных пород, в том числе в зонах тектонических нарушений, весьма актуально, поскольку одной из важнейших задач при формировании медно-никелевого оруденения является выявление пост(мета)магматических преобразований пород, руд и особенностей перераспределения рудного вещества на заключительной стадии рудно-магматического процесса. Метасоматически измененные породы наряду с такими новообразованными минералами, как биотит, пироксен, кварц, гранат, графит, содержат мелкую рассеянную вкрапленность сульфидов. Ранее накопленный материал по сульфидным медно-никелевым объектам Камчатской никеленосной провинции, анализ выявленных в ходе проведенных исследований особенностей строения метасоматических зональных комплексов, распределение и взаимоотношение рудных минералов в породах, установленные парагенетические минеральные ассоциации позволяют сделать вывод о том, что процесс рудообразования имел сложный многоэтапный характер. На раннем собственно магматическом этапе происходило развитие сингенетичной вкрапленности магнетита и пирротина. В постмагматический этап мог происходить перенос значительной массы рудного вещества в составе высокотемпературных флюидов, действующих в зонах повышенной проницаемости, приуроченных к долгоживущим разломам и связывающих магматические камеры с гипабиссальными горизонтами земной коры. Происходящие в этих камерах процессы дифференциации приводили к развитию комплекса магм, последовательное внедрение которых вызывало образование контактово-метасоматических образований.
Многочисленные поверхностные ореолы гранат-магнетитовых золотосодержащих природных (естественных) шлихов на пляже в юго-западной части Камчатского полуострова, на побережье Охотского моря, представлены прерывистыми струями шириной первые метры, длиной десятки-первые сотни метров, мощностью до 10 см. На поверхности пляжа происходит развитие до трех параллельных берегу зон природных шлихов, приуроченных к определенным элементам рельефа: к гребню штормового вала, ко второй аккумулятивной террасе, к основанию берегового уступа. Это средне-мелко-зернистые пески с небольшим содержанием гравийно-галечной составляющей. Проведен рентгенофазовый анализ (метод корундового числа) данных образований на порошковом рентгеновском дифрактометре Rigaku Ultima iV с целью определения их минерального состава. Высокая достоверность метода дает сведения о структуре вещества. Результаты исследований подтверждают, что многочисленные отложения этого типа могут являться не только источником извлечения драгоценного металла, но и титаномагнетита, концентрации которого в шлихах составляют 16,3-39,4 %, гранатов-7-13,1 %, ильменита-до 7,7 %. Наиболее обогащены полезными компонентами пляжи неполного профиля на абразионном участке берега, у основания берегового обрыва, особенно поверхностный гранат-магнетитовый шлих, мощность которого более 5 см и содержание золота составляет более 100 мг/м 3. По результатам рентгенофлуоресцентного анализа на приборе EDx Pocket Series iV в этих пробах отмечены повышенные содержания ванадия. Все эти особенности следует учитывать в дальнейшем при разработке схем обогатимости технологических проб при извлечении золота из металлоносных осадков.
