the tribological behavior of plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) layers synthesized on AMg-6 and D16T alloys (as the analogists of the A95556 UNWS USA and AA2024 ANSI USA) and on PEO layers formed on arc sprayed coatings (ASC) from both solid and cored wires (CW) in electrolyte-3 g /l KOH + 2 g / l Na2SiO3) by pulse current had been investigated. It has been established that the wear resistanse of the upper and lower PEO layers, synthesized both on the D16T alloy and on the ASC from the solid wire D16 is high. The highest wear resistance during friction with the fixed abrasive have PEO layers synthesized on the D16T alloy and on the ASC from D16 solid wire. The efficiency of the combination of arc spraying (AS) and PEO technologies for the reduction and hardening of surfaces of contact pairs (couples) from light alloys, operating both under conditions of abrasive wear and boundary lubrication is shown.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
