Актуальность. Астма является одним из самых распространённых заболеваний, которым страдают более 300 млн человек во всем мире. Helicobacter pylori является одной из наиболее распространённых инфекций, в результате её колонизации слизистой оболочки желудка высвобождаются белки острой фазы, что может выявить патогенную связь между хеликобактерной инфекцией и воспалительными заболеваниями. Цель исследования -оценить хеликобактерную инфекцию у детей с астмой и её связь с тяжестью течения астмы. Материал и методы. В этом контролируемом исследовании приняло участие 94 пациента (в возрасте от 2 до 18 лет), которые были разделены на две равные группы -с астмой и без астмы. Хеликобактерную инфекцию оценивали в двух группах с использованием сывороточных антител против H.pylori (IgG). Данные были проанализированы с использованием программного обеспечения SPSS 16. Были использованы статистические методы -критерий хи-квадрат и Т-критерий. Значение p<0,05 считалось статистически значимым. Результаты. В астматической группе 36,2% случаев, а в контрольной группе 48,9% случаев имели положительный результат теста на H.pylori (p=0,211). Выявлена достоверная связь между инфекцией H.pylori и продолжительностью астмы (p=0,002), и возрастом пациентов (p=0,04). Не было выявлено значимой связи между хеликобактерной инфекцией и полом, тяжестью астмы, семейным анамнезом астмы и тестами функции лёгких. Вывод. Результаты этого исследования показали, что количество инфицированных H.pylori детей с астмой было ниже, чем в контрольной группе, но эта разница не была статистически значимой. Также была выявлена достоверная связь между инфекцией H.pylori, длительностью астмы и возрастом больных.
