The possibility to apply nanosized cupper contained powders obtained by the electrochemical method as a metal-cladding additive to commercial lubricants is shown. With a view to study the effect of cupper contained powder additives on the tribological behavior of semisolid lubricants, composites with the powder were subjected to laboratory friction tests. It is found that introduction of nanosized cupper contained compounds into standard lubricants improves the tribological behavior of the latter.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
