Podkreślona została zależność między przekształcaniem dyskursu przez poszczególnych tłumaczy a celem jaki sobie stawiali, sytuacją w jakiej działali i ich indywidualnymi upodobaniami. Porównanie tekstów nie doprowadziło jednak do „schematycznego i ścisłego opisu” stopni przekładalności, co potwierdzałoby tezę o chronicznej nieokreśloności tłumaczenia.
