<p><strong>Título en ingles</strong>: Anaerobic removal of the brl direct blue dye in Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket (UASB) with activated carbon</p><p>En esta investigación se utilizó el colorante azul directo brl para remoción anaerobia con un consorcio bacteriano aislado de efluentes industriales del Parque Industrial río Seco (PIRS), Arequipa, Perú; en un reactor anaerobio de flujo ascendente UASB con carbón activado. El reactor tuvo una capacidad de 14.4 Lcon lodos y carbón activado del 40% de volumen, con una carga orgánica de 6 KgDQO/m3•día y un tiempo de retención hidráulica de 1 día con un flujo ascendente. El objetivo fue medir la eficiencia de la remoción anaerobia del colorante en un tiempo de 28 días. Los resultados demostraron un incremento del 41% de los Sólidos Suspendidos Volátiles (SSV) de 12894 mg•L-1 a 21546 mg•L-1 bajo las condiciones del experimento, con una remoción del 57% de la Demanda Química de Oxigeno (DQO) de 484 mg•L-1 a 122 mg•L-1 y una remoción del 87% del colorante azul directo brl de 69.61 mg•L-1 a 9 mg•L-1. Los resultados con el carbón activado granular solamente, demostraron una remoción del 61% del colorante azul directo brl de 70.67 mg•L-1 a 27.83 mg•L-1 a los 28 días.</p>
La región Arequipa es una zona económicamente activa, ocupando el segundo lugar a nivel nacional debido principalmente a su minería e industria. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivos específicos: Determinar los parámetros físico-químicos en las zonas seleccionadas, identificar taxonómicamente las microalgas y la abundancia relativa por división. Se realizaron 2 salidas de campo, en julio y noviembre (2017) - Creciente y Estiaje respectivamente. La medición de parámetros fisicoquímicos en campo se realizó siguiendo el manual de la UNMSM. Los análisis fisicoquímicos (laboratorio) fueron realizados por la empresa Laboratorios Analíticos del Sur (LAS). Para diseñar el muestreo en campo, se adaptó la metodología de la Confederación Hidrográfica del Ebro. El muestreo cualitativo de perifiton, fitoplancton y análisis de las muestras en laboratorio se hizo de acuerdo al manual de UNMSM. Los parámetros fisicoquímicos mostraron variación con respecto a la época de muestreo (Estiaje y Creciente). El pH, concentración de boro y cobre excedieron en algunas estaciones los ECA (2017). Con respecto a la diversidad de microalgas, estuvo representada en 4 divisiones: Bacillariophyta, Chlorophyta, Cyanophyta y Charophyta, logrando un total de 44 géneros y 64 especies identificadas.

<p><strong>Título en ingles: Cultivation of <em>Arthrospira platensis</em> (Spirulina) in curved</strong> <strong>doubly tubular photobioreactor to environmental conditions in the South of the Peru</strong><strong></strong><strong></strong></p><p><strong>Título corto: </strong><strong>Cultivo de <em>Arthrospira platensis </em>(Spirulina) en fotobiorreactor</strong></p><p><strong>Resumen: </strong>El presente trabajo investigó el cultivo de la microalga <em>Arthrospira platensis</em> (Spirulina) en valores de productividad cultivado en fotobiorreactor tubular doblemente curvado a condiciones ambientales con el fin de aprovechar la alta radiación solar de la región Arequipa en el sur de Perú (16°24´50´´ LS; 71°32´02´´ LO; 2344 msnm). El fotobiorreactor fue construido con un tubo transparente de policloruro de vinilo (PVC). La productividad del cultivo fue de 13.9 g/m<sup>2</sup> en 14 días ó 1 g/m<sup>2</sup>/día y una concentración de clorofila - “a” de 0.00785 mg/L con una máxima radiación de 1179 W/m<sup>2</sup>, y una iluminación de 121500 lux, convirtiendo sus filamentos helicoidales a morfologías anormales, tales como formas irregulares curvas e incluso lineales con fragmentaciones, demostrando que el cultivo se vio afectado por la alta radiación y las variaciones de temperaturas de Arequipa.</p><p><strong>Palabras clave:</strong> cultivo, fotobiorreactor, productividad, sur de Perú, Spirulina.</p><p><strong>Abstract: </strong>The present work investigated the cultivation of microalgae <em>Arthrospira platensis</em> (Spirulina) in productivity values cultivated in doubly curved tubular photobioreactor to environmental conditions in order to take advantage of the high solar radiation of the Arequipa region in southern Peru (16°24´50´´ LS; 71°32´02´´LW; 2344 msnm.). The photobioreactor was built with a transparent tube of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The productivity of the crop was 13.9 g/m<sup>2</sup> in 14 days or 1 g/m<sup>2</sup>/day and a concentration of chlorophyll - "a" 0.00785 mg/L with a maximum radiation of 1179 W/m<sup>2</sup>, and a 121500 lux illumination, making its helical filaments abnormal morphologies, such as curves and linear even irregular shapes with fragmentation, demonstrating that the crop was affected by high radiation and variations in temperatures of Arequipa.</p><p><strong>Key words:</strong> culture, photobioreactor, productivity, South of Peru, Spirulina.</p><p><strong>Recibido:</strong> enero 22 de 2015<strong> Aprobado: </strong>abril 22 de 2015</p>
