This article examines the results of a study conducted by the Research Institute of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Bonn, during the years 1975 and 1977, to gauge “participation in employer-provided vocational training”, comparing foreign born and native born teenage males. Italians were selected to represent the foreign born to be compared to German born young males.
