Concentrations of 10 mg/1 benzyl adenine (BA), 0.1 mg/1 naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) and 500 mg/1 malt extract, caused maximum initiation of buds from citrus stem explants grown in vitro. Minimum bud initiation occurred in explants grown on basal medium supplemented with 0.1 mg/1 BA, 0.1 mg/1 NAA and 500 mg/1 malt extract (ME).
Roots were initiated in explants grown on basal medium supplemented with 0.1 mg/1 NAA and 500 mg/1 ME, and in medium lacking growth regulators. Plants were produced from these seedling stem explants.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
