This study aims to determine the effect of job expectations (JE), job satisfaction (JS), and government policy (PG) on work stress (WS), work passion (JEn), and continuance commitment (CC) to honorarium teachers in middle and high school. Data collection was done through questionnaires and analyzed using the SEM approach with the help of the Lisrel 8.80 program. The results of the analysis show that the variables JE, JS, and PG have an influence on WS; and WS has an influence on JEn and CC. Explicitly, the conditions and situations faced by honorary teachers tend to create a desire to find new workplaces. This was also reinforced by the issuance of Government Regulation No. 49/2019 concerning the acceptance of workers with work agreements and prohibits the existence of honorarium status. It is recommended, it is necessary to give priority to honorary teachers by not using work contracts, but by treating them for a certain period of time, then being appointed as permanent (non-ASN) teachers if they are judged to meet their requirements and eligibility.Abstrak: Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh harapan kerja (JE), kepuasan kerja (JS), dan kebijakan pemerintah (PG) terhadap stres kerja (WS), antusiasme kerja (JEn), dan komitmen berkelanjutan (CC) guru honorarium di SMP dan SMA. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan SEM dengan bantuan program Lisrel 8.80. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel JE, JS, dan PG memiliki pengaruh terhadap WS; dan WS memiliki pengaruh pada JEn dan CC. Eksplisit, kondisi dan situasi yang dihadapi oleh guru honorer cenderung memunculkan keinginan untuk mencari tempat kerja baru. Hal itu juga diperkuat dengan dikeluarkannya Peraturan Pemerintah No. 49/2019 tentang penerimaan pekerja dengan perjanjian kerja dan melarang adanya status honorarium. Direkomendasikan, perlu memberikan prioritas penerimaan kepada guru honorer dengan tidak menggunakan perjanjian kerja (kontrak), melainkan dengan perlakuan percobaan selama waktu tertentu, kemudian diangkat sebagai guru tetap (non-ASN) apabila dinilai memenuhi persyaratan dan kelayakannya. : harapan kerja, kepuasan kerja, kebijakan pemerintah, stres kerja, gairah kerja, komitmen berkelanjutan Kata Kunci
This study investigated the effect of the preventive, advocacy, distribution, repair, and adjustment function variables on psychosocial conditions, self-reliance, and student competency. The study was conducted on 12th grade students in the social science and natural science study programmes in four high schools in the national capital of the Republic of Indonesia, DKI Jakarta Province, with a sample of 130 students (74 males and 56 females). The results of the study showed that not all proposed hypotheses were acceptable but did show very meaningful results. The prevention, advocacy, and adjudication function variables have a positive influence on the development of psychosocial conditions of students, while the advocacy, distribution, and adjustment function variables have a positive influence on the development of self-reliance conditions. The two variables were able to become intermediate variables in influencing student competence. Considering the important function of counselling for BK / GC teachers, it is recommended that the government (especially the provincial government) be able to establish cooperation with universities in meeting the needs of BK / GC teachers. Contribution/Originality: This paper explains the influence of guidance and counseling functions in developing psychosocial, independence and student competence. The existence of teacher guidance and counseling in schools is needed in order to be able to carry out the roles as expected. 1. PurposeThis paper aims to determine the extent to which the strategy of Noken-Papuan products, known as intangible culture recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), can increase local economic empowerment. The main strategy is to strengthen the regulation of the use of Noken in every activity of daily life while promoting it, this has not been explained much from previous research.Design/methodology/approachThe study used the method of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats– analytic hierarchy process (SWOT-AHP) with analysing several pairs of instruments’ predetermined group and finally decision-making strategy recommendations. Data distribution to five districts of Jayapura using simple random sampling based on consideration type product and industrial areas with a number of elements in each sub-population are different.FindingsThe development of local products with cultural values is one of the important points included in the regional development strategy model.Social implicationsThe traditional handmade products that have a high cultural philosophical value can be beneficial to the local community empowerment.Originality/valueEthnotechnology can be well-developed and implemented if policy actors identify the values of external and internal factors to be formulated in enhancing local economic development. This work is a simple attempt to collect research findings separately on Noken product development as a conceptual basis for comparative analysis.
This paper aims to examine the effect of government policy variables, continuance commitment, school image, and parents' aspirations on dormitory school performance. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to teacher respondents, interviews, and focus group discussions. The study found that government policies and continuance commitment had a positive influence on school performance, while the school image variables and the aspirations of parents did not have a positive influence. A more coordinated and synergic operational mechanism is needed between the government (central, provincial, district) and schools to improve dormitory school performance. The government needs to give priority to honorary teachers in recruiting workers with work agreements (PP No. 48/2018), by not implementing a system of employment agreements (contracts), but as non-ASN permanent teachers who get salary / wages in accordance with applicable regulations (recommended based on regional minimum wages), the right to take competency tests and get teacher professional allowances, family health insurance, leave rights, capacity building training, and others.
Pembelajaran sejarah lokal dapat dijadikan sebagai media untuk mengembangkan rasa kepedulian dan ketertarikan peserta didik terhadap kedaerahan mereka. Melalui sejarah lokal, peserta didik dapat belajar tentang keunikan daerahnya, seperti budaya dan kearifan lokal. Salah satu sumber yang dapat dijadikan sebagai pembelajaran sejarah lokal adalah Situs Cagar Budaya Pelawangan, di Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan Situs Cagar Budaya Pelawangan dalam pembelajaran sejarah lokal. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, serta studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dengan menjadikan Situs Pelawangan sebagai sumber pembelajaran sejarah lokal, peserta didik memperoleh pengetahuan baru tentang keunikan budaya dan kearifan lokal dari kehidupan masyarakat masa lalu. Keunikan tersebut berwujud pohon tetenger yang menjadi penanda adanya situs yang terpendam.
AbstrakKeris merupakan kekayaan budaya yang pada permulaannya diindikasikan sebagai senjata khas suku Melayu dan menyebar ke seluruh Nusantara. Sebagai sebuah senjata, keris mempunyai keistimewaan tersendiri dikarenakan terdapatnya pamor di tubuh keris. Keunikan dan kerumitan pembuatan keris seiring dengan berkembangnya mitos kepercayaan terhadap keris tentang kekuatan adikodrati yang bisa membantu manusia dalam menghadapi persoalan kehidupan pun klaim kekuasaan. Pada akhirnya keris berkembang tidak hanya sebagai benda mistik, namun juga bernilai ekonomi. Maka, industri keris mulai mendapatkan angin segar khususnya di Sumenep setelah permintaan pasar mulai meningkat. Penelitian ini bermaksud menelaah perkembangan industri keris di Sumenep sebagai sentra terbesar pembuatan keris di Nusantara. Metode yang digunakan adalah kulitatif deskriptif dengan tiga tahapan yang meliputi studi pustaka (desk research), pengumpulan data dan focus group discussion (FGD). Dari hasil studi yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa perkembangan industri keris di Sumenep sudah ada sejak masa Ju’ Pande, pertengahan abad ke-19. Hanya saja industri keris sempat terhenti setelah mengalami represi dari Pemerintah Belanda dan Jepang di paruh pertama abad ke-20. Setelah kemerdekaan, industri keris kembali berkembang dengan berpusat di tiga Kecamatan yaitu Bluto, Saronggi, dan Lenteng. Dalam perkembangannya, industri keris di Sumenep mengalami pasang surut karena faktor represi dari penguasa kolonial Belanda dan Jepang.
Kota Surabaya menjadi daerah dengan pasien positif Covid-19 terbanyak di Jawa Timur. Oleh karena itu, Pemkot Surabaya berusaha mengunakan beragam cara untuk melawan penyebaran Covid-19. Pemkot Surabaya juga mengharapkan partisipasi masyarakat untuk bersama-sama bergotong royong menangani pademi Covid-19. Sebagai modal sosial, tradisi gotong royong bisa dimanfaatkan untuk menghadapi penyebaran wabah Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran gotong royong sebagai modal sosial di masyarakat Surabaya dalam menghadapi pandemi Covid-19. Penulisan ini menggunakanmetode penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi pustaka dan wawancara virtual. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwakegiatan gotong royong bisa berguna untuk mobilisasi sumber daya di masyarakat. Selain dapat memberikan bantuan berupa barang yang dibutuhkan untuk penanganan Covid-19, kegiatan gotong royong juga mampu membuat koordinasi dan kerjasama antara masyarakat dan pemerintah Surabaya menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien.
