The paper’s intention is to provide the correspondence of the globalization and the diversity in the management in this current trade era. The aim of the article is to understand the leader’s role in diversity management which is rapidly changing the global trade market more clearly. Globalization has a very big influence on the diversity management these days, both directly and indirectly. This study is based on a systematic review of 14 journal articles presented on the concerned topic. It is divided into three main parts: the paper describes benefits of diversity management, leader’s role and the challenges which leaders face while playing the role in the diverse management. In the review, it was found that “diversity” in the workplace is one of the most important factors to run the business or corporation smoothly and workplaces are truly benefitted by the management of the diversity. It works as an “aid to trade” in the performance of the workforce in the corporate culture. Next, we explained the challenges which leaders face and how to avoid those by taking initial steps. The paper ends up by providing discussions, limitations of the previous literature and some suggestions to the future researchers.
The paper’s intention is to investigate the behavioral intentions of consumers towards the adoption of Uber with focus on effects of digitalization and shared economy on the adoption of Uber. The aim of the article is to examine the cultural factors of Bangladesh and Pakistan, which are leading people towards adopotion of non traditional source of transport. Particularly, these countries’ comparison was not done before by other researchers. Theory of Planned Behavior integrated with Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensions has been used to examine the Behavioral Intention of customers of these two countries towards adoption of Uber in the research. A great comparison was done in the study by using factors of TAM, TPB and Hofstede Cultural Models. Dependent variables played important roles in showing positive and negative attitudes on independent variables. This article’s findings show that “Risk” negatively affects the Behavioral Intention. Research data is collected through online close-ended questionnaires from 145 total respondents, which limits the generalization of the study. At the end, where it identified “female” as a bigger market and provided an opportunity for Uber to categorize the risks prevalent in the society and define new strategies by adapting to the local culture by being a global company. Factors examination produced a great findings which created recommendations for future researchers followed by a conclusion.
Open innovation (OI) strategy includes inter-company processes and activities i.e. networking, management, communication etc. The intention of this paper is to present examples on how open innovation performs within these start-ups. This paper is a descriptive study that discusses how to implement open innovation strategies in order to gain access to new business ideas in Norwegian tech companies. Throughout the study and analysis of appropriate literature, this research aims to deepen the understanding of the initial question and provide direction for further research. This improved understanding of using open innovation strategies will help entrepreneurs, as well as policy makers involved in idea evaluation. This study deals with the OI strategy implementation in small companies and startups, both of which are almost untouched fields of study. It contributes recommendations for reality thinking, social media involvement, and planned versus arbitrary strategy. This qualitative research paper forms a case study based on structured interviews with four anonymous Norwegian tech start-ups. Twenty to twenty-five articles about “startups, open innovation and networking” have been selected and analysed for the purpose of this paper. This study outlines a clear method for reviewing the theories of open innovation and networking which are discussed in the objectives. Unlike previous research, this paper will highlight loopholes and common mistakes typically made by start-ups and instead will implement smooth open innovation strategies for their company’s benefit. After conducting successful interviews with start-up, the results have been combined with literature reviews and related theories with empirical evidence to support the proposed question. Finally, the findings are categorised in the table below and organised according to interviewee answers.
This paper examines the compensation package of the CEO of both the Nordic and US markets and their roles in the organization. The paper contains the comparison between the compensation package of Nordic and US CEOs along with the harmony of the determinants. The work pattern and compensation are different in these two markets, certainly. It has been a big influence in the organization or working places to provide the most desired efforts on the particular or assigned responsibilities. This study is based on a systematic review of literatures, empirical evidences and surveys extracted from 23 articles of the previous studies on the compensation packages of CEO of both Nordic and US markets. The paper will be discussing about the chief executive body in the organization, the compensation design along with their compensation package system, discussing about the theories and determinants’ differences of their compensation practices and how this package is designed in both the Nordic and US markets. The difference between these two markets will be elaborately discussed and following by the author’s own discussion. The paper will end by providing a valid conclusion about the whole study.
