RESUMOO excesso de sedimentos presentes nos cursos d'água são fontes de sérios problemas envolvendo a qualidade e quantidade de água no rio, causando grandes distúrbios socioambientais. Dessa forma, o estudo e monitoramento hidrossedimentológico é de suma importância para definir medidas de mitigação dos impactos ambientais causados pela perda de solo. Portanto, objetivou-se a aplicação da metodologia indireta para determinação dos sedimentos suspensos através da coleta por integração vertical, o que possibilitou a análise sedimentológica, além da medição da vazão, para incrementação do banco de dados referente à bacia do rio Verruga. Assim, foi possível determinar a descarga sólida durante os meses de monitoramento, bem como estabelecer a curva chave para cálculo da vazão com base na cota da seção estudada. Por fim, foi determinada a concentração de sedimentos suspensos, além da calibração de equações para estimativa de valores futuros de descarga sólida diária.
