In recent years, there has been a great deal of interest in lightweight vehicle design due to regulations about reducing fuel consumption and emissions. Lightweight design of vehicle components is one of the most important research topics in vehicle design. Developing the optimum structure in the early stages of design process is very important for minimizing the vehicle weight and production costs. In this paper, an automobile hinge component has been developed using PA66 GF60 glass fiber-reinforced polyamide composite materials instead of conventional steel. The automobile hinge component has been conceived using computer aided design software. Topology optimization was made under specific loadings subject to the constraints of finite element method analysis. As a result of this study, optimum dimensions of the component have been obtained and the weight of the component has been reduced via structural topology optimization techniques while satisfying displacement and stress conditions. The results show that composite materials are an important alterative in lightweight vehicle design.
Bilgisayar ve internet teknolojilerindeki gelişmeler, hayatımızın her alanında etkisini gösterdiği gibi ekonomi boyutunda da etkileri yadsınamaz. Ekonomi alanındaki yeni ekonomik reform mahiyetinde kabul gören bu yenilikler FinTek (Finans ve Teknoloji) kapsamı içerisinde yer almaktadır. FinTech inovasyonu ile ekonomide ademi merkeziyetçi bir akım başlatan Bitcoin, şu an dünya ekonomisinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bitcoin ile hayatımıza giren Blockchain (Blokzincir) teknolojisinin ise yakın gelecekte hayatımızın vazgeçilmez bir parçası haline geleceği öngörülmektedir.Tüm bu gelişmeler ışığında günümüzün popüler teknolojilerinden olan yapay zeka yöntemlerinden yararlanılarak, kitle haberleşme aracı olarak tanımlanan gazetelerde yer alan, insan ve toplumu ilgilendiren ve toplumun en önemli ihtiyaçlarından olan haberlerin, geleceğin para birimi olarak görülen Bitcoin üzerindeki etkileri ortaya konmak istenmiştir. Bu bağlamda 5 ulusal finans gazetesi belirlenip, Bitcoin'in ilk halka arz yılından itibaren yayınlanan haberleri olumlu ve olumsuz yorum içeriklerine göre sayısallaştırarak, Bitcoin altyapı teknolojisi olan blokzinciri verileri ile ikinci en popüler kripto para olan Ethereum'un ABD dolar karşılığı alınarak, yapay sinir ağları teknikleri ile oluşturulan ağ içerisinde ilişkilendirilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda %99'luk tahminsel başarı içeren yapay sinir ağında, finansal gazetelerin yayınlamış olduğu Bitcoin içerikli haberlerin, Bitcoin fiyat tahminine güçlü bir etkisinin olmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Bunulan birlikte seçilen finansal gazetelerden The Wall Street gazetesinin diğer finansal gazetelere oranla Bitcoin fiyat tahminde nispeten etkisinin olduğu saptanmıştır.
The key indication of a nation's economic development and strength is the stock market. Inflation and economic expansion affect the volatility of the stock market. Given the multitude of factors, predicting stock prices is intrinsically challenging. Predicting the movement of stock price indexes is a difficult component of predicting financial time series. Accurately predicting the price movement of stocks can result in financial advantages for investors. Due to the complexity of stock market data, it is extremely challenging to create accurate forecasting models. Using machine learning and other algorithms to anticipate stock prices is an interesting area. The purpose of this article is to forecast stock market values to assist investors to make better informed and precise investing decisions. Statistics, Machine Learning (ML), Natural language processing (NLP), and sentiment analysis will be used to accomplish the study's objectives. Using both qualitative and quantitative information, the study developed a hybrid model. The hybrid model has been handled with GANs. Based on the model's predictions, a buy-or-sell trading strategy is offered. The conclusions of this study will assist investors in selecting the ideal choice while selling, holding, or buying shares.
Vehicular Ad hoc Networks (VANET) is one of the emerging mobile ad hoc networking paradigms (MANET), where the self-organizing and infrastructure-less nature of MANET structure. In VANETs, vehicle nodes communicate with each other using wireless links. However, the nodes are highly mobile and the topology of the network changes rapidly. Therefore, the design of routing protocols in VANETs is still a crucial issue. In this paper, we examine two of the most recent routing protocols that proposed for MANETs to select the optimal path between source-destination pairs, namely: Dynamic MANET On-demand (DYMO) and Optimized Link State Routing version 2 (OLSRv2) routing protocols. We evaluated and compared the performance of both protocols based on different parameters under various simulation scenarios. The result has shown that the DYMO protocol has higher through put and packet delivery ratio compare to the OLSRv2 protocol. However, the OLSRv2 protocols has better performance in the terms of average jitter and end to end delay compare to the DYMO protocol based on the paper's scenario. OLSRv2 should be selected if the system concerns about time delay and jitter, otherwise it should be selected DYMO to achieve higher throughput and high packet delivery.
From the Crimean War photographs that Roger Fenton went by a coach and authenticated to today, the war photography has showed a remarkable and rapid evolution in sense of technology especially after 1975 when the digital technology has entered in our daily lives and pervaded. As time goes by, instead of carrying a photo camera, cellular phones with the photo camera option has become a preference, yet became a standard. A Pulitzer Award winner newspaper photographer Damon Winter, assigned by New York Times to observe the U.S. operations in Afghanistan has awarded in "Pictures of the Year" Contest by the pictures that he has taken by his cellular phone with the help of a software called "Hipstamatic". The utmost in the digitalization in the photography, by all means, is also bringing a wide range of debates with it. By this study, the history of war photography will be reviewed from the first day to today and will be analysed with the photographs including the 1st and 2nd World Wars, Vietnamese Conflict, the Iraq War where digital photography was used and thus the photographic effects of digitalization on the war photography is aimed to be revealed.
