An implicit generalized minimum variance type adaptive controller has been designed for regulating the output voltage of a wireless power pick-up. The parameters of this controller are directly estimated without explicitly identifying system parameters and therefore it offers significant advantages over explicit type adaptive controllers requiring process parameter estimation. The performance of this controller has been illustrated via simulations. Results of simulation under various conditions demonstrate that the proposed controller can achieve full-range tuning control and successfully regulate the output voltage under system parameter variations.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
