An fünf Produktionsanlagen zur Rapsölgewinnung mit mechanischer und extraktiver Saatentölung sowie nachfolgender physikalischer oder chemischer Raffination werden die Einflüsse der Prozeßparameter auf die Tocopherolbilanz untersucht. Unerwartet groß ist der Einfluß des Saatzustands bei der mechanischen Entölung. Die Tocopherolkonzentration im Öl aus kaltgepreßter, ganzer Saat ist nur halb so groß wie im warmgepreßten Schilferöl. Der wichtigste Raffinationsschritt im Hinblick auf die Tocopherolbilanz ist die Desodorierung. Hier wird ein Teil der Tocopherole destillativ in das Brüdenkondensat überführt. Eine mathematische Modellierung der kontinuierlichen Desodorierung zeigt den Einfluß der Temperatur in guter Übereinstimmung mit den Meßergebnissen an einer Produktionsanlage. Die Tocopherole im Dämpferkondensat lassen sich durch Hochdruckextraktion mit überkritischem Kohlendioxid auf hohe Konzentrationen von mehr als 90% bei Ausbeuten von etwa 70% anreichern.
