An alternate version of the so called PN delay lock loop, vir the full-time early-late code tracking loop (F-T E-L CTL), designed for an HF channel estimation application, is presented. The loop employs polyphase Constant Amplitude Zero AutoGmelation (CAZAC) tracking sequences providing the simultaneous dual advantages of improved loop tracking performance as well as excellent channel probing capabilities. The proposed CAZAC code tracking loop has been simulated in Turbo Pascal. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the loop tracking performance in the presence of noise, interference and distortion encountered on typical simulated HF channels. A s u m m v of the primary cliaracterirtics of the so called CAZAC sequences i s also presented.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
